Confused as to why Google shows this as open. Just walked there and while there is a Mexican restaurant, it was not open. And it wasn't call Plaza Coffee Shop. There is no Plaza Coffee Shop in the area.

Really good place off the beat and path in Douglaston. On a charming street by the LIRR station small place but they had a really good steak and rice and beans plate full of flavor. Friendly staff . I always enjoy small places like this , can tell the staff works hard. Would like to come by for breakfast.

Best chicken nachos, I must order every time. chicken is tender and juicy. It's perfect with Jalapeño to give you that kick. It's great to have this place in the community please support the local business.

Just had the most amazing breakfast burrito I’ve ever experienced in NY. They were nice enough to make them for us this one time after their breakfast hours and they exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend! Their green hot sauce was super good, too!

Just tried a breakfast sandwich there and it was delicious with their homemade green hot sauce! Their iced coffee was also very good (they got oat milk!).Of course I could not leave without taking home some food for later. I ordered some beef empanadas (with both red and green hot sauce) and guac n chips to go and omggg it was so good!!! Definitely going back to try their tacos and I’m so thrilled to have stumbled across a local shop that is on point with their flavors, friendly service, price and convenience.
Parking: A block away from the shop is free street parking in the neighborhood behind a school yard.

The Plaza Coffee shop is a great local spot for great breakfast and lunch options. The tacos and burritos are consistently fresh and taste great. The coffee and breakfast options are great as well. Support this local option, you won’t be disappointed.

Definitely drop in if you’re nearby. Not your normal deli cafe as there’s an excellent chef making the food. Extremely clean and well stocked. Great breakfast ( customizable) , coffee, and lunch options!
