I loveeeee this place, way better than the Williamsburg location, there was no one and the food was great.

First of all, the person up front taking our order was extremely rude and acted like we didn’t exist. Second, when we asked him if we order through him or the kiosk he simply ignored us and nodded his head in the direction of the kiosk. That alone put a sour taste in our mouth but we weren’t going to leave and optimistically hoped that the food would change our view of this establishment. The dumplings were mediocre at best. Flavors were there however the fried portion of the dumplings left a massive pool of oil at the bottom which didn’t sit well with me. The steamed dumplings had water at the bottom which made it seem like they put no effort into making the dishes look appetizing. Overall, I would not recommend going here but if you decide to, maybe takeout is a better option.

I love this place for a cheap and quick bite! Dumplings, noodles, and sesame pancakes are all great. They also have a number of vegetarian options.

Great sesame pockets. Amazing soups and especially the dumplings. So many choices!! I would love to have the buns again. Shrimp is coming soon, which will make a much needed addition to the menu.

I really wanted to like this place. Walking in, the decor immediately sets a warm, inviting tone—charming lights, cozy seating, and a vibe that says “we care.” Unfortunately, that care didn’t make it into the food.

I ordered takeout and was met with underseasoned Dan Dan noodle dishes and an overall lack of flavor. Everything tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp a bit too long. The portion sizes were fair, but when the taste misses the mark this badly, it hardly matters.

The staff were polite and friendly, and the space itself is actually quite lovely—if they put half as much effort into the kitchen as they did the decor, this place could really shine.

Until then, I’ll be admiring it from the sidewalk on my way to somewhere else.

Ordered two orders of Sheng Jian Bao: Pan-fried pork buns (生煎包) $4/each with some other dishes.

Went to pick up and were told it was never on the menu. Have me two orders of fried dumpling 锅贴 $8/each.

Never coming back, scam place.

Also food is meh. Lots of dumpling places near forest hills. Look elsewhere!

I ordered takeout dumplings and they were fairly good. I liked the spicy topping with the onions but I do wish it was a dip on the side so I could spread it as I wished. I felt like the flavor overpowered the flavor of actual dumpling a bit. But it was actually still crispy once it reached my house and one of the better pan fried dumplings I’ve had. I would recommend trying it out.

Absolutely delicious dumplings. Great variety. Excellent prices. (They even have frozen dumplings to take home and cook.) Super casual- a few shared tables and people rotate through quickly.

Question for the owners, was there an upcharge for the hair on my dumplings or was it free? I used to go to the location on 14th street and they never gave extra hair on the food so I'm not sure
