I was back from Florida for two days after a year. I wanted to try the Jelly black tea with the small pearl. I didn’t exactly remember the name. The first cashier just rolled her eyes like I was difficult. And another guy came to the cashier and typed in “black milk tea with small pearls”. I looked at the screen again and double checked with him that I wanted jelly tea with the small pearl. He then proceeded to give me the black milk tea. When the tea came out it was wrong. And he seemed a bit annoyed having to do it again so I just said that I’ll take as it is because I didn’t want to be difficult but I did not like the milk black tea. I really just wanted to try the jelly black tea after a long trip from Florida.
I left my phone at the store and had to went back again to get my “lost phone”. He did not understand the term “lost phone” so I try to say the term in Chinese. He replied in annoyed tone, “unlock it… unlock it!” I unlocked it. But I find the overall atmosphere and service really not very nice.

1. Mango pomelo sago with bubble 70% sugar is the best drink they have.
2. 10 dollar for the drink is relatively good and that’s with adding bubble which is 1 dollar
3. Large is a decent size and quite a lot for that you get

I said two times of ordering two large Brown Sugar Pearl Oolong Tea for take out. But when I got home, it was two Brown Sugar Pearl Black Tea, which doesn’t have any tea flavor and tastes so watery. So disappointing!!!!!

Today's service attitude leaves this store without a single customer. There was no one in the store when I went. The male cashier asked: Is ice and sugar normal? I said, ice is normal, less sugar. He couldn't hear clearly. I repeated it. He repeated: Less ice, normal sugar? I repeat: normal ice, less sugar. He immediately became impatient and put on a face. If you can't hear clearly, don't ask. Since you asked, you should be polite. If you are more awesome, go do something else. If you are deaf, don't go into the service industry. I won’t go there again. There are many milk tea shops, but this one is the worst.

If you want to talk about expensive American milk, it is three times the price in Taiwan. But at least the quality of the Taiwanese chain stores is stable. I drank from two non-Taiwanese stores in Flushing. It was so unpleasant that even a hand-shake addict like me could not swallow it and had to pour it out.

I recall this spot had a massive line during grand opening. I waited a year and finally tried it today ?$8.44 for a 20 oz red bean matcha latte. Something sweet & cold to offset the heat.Nowadays $8 for a drink in Flushing is common. There’s a bubble tea war going on and new locations are sprouting up like mushrooms.Every one is looking to try the latest trend. YI FANG is decent and I believe it has staying power ??

Ordered online and 20-25 minutes later went in store to pick it up.I left without checking my drinks and when I looked, there was no tapioca. The tapioca cost extra, so I went back and asked for the tapioca. They didn't say anything, just took the drink. I waited there awkwardly for 5 minutes

Very nice store. Seating spots available on both sides of ordering window. Menu has a variety of drinks.I got the mango pomelo seasonal special drink. Such amazing taste. Gulped the whole large thing in minutes. Delicious taste of mango mixed with grapefruit pomelo. I was able to adjust sugar to 50% but ice level was fixed.Service is pretty fast. Despite being very busy, they made our drinks within few minutes.
Vegetarian options: All drinks are meat free but some are made with milk.

Anyone who gave less than 4 stars is crazy. One review is complaining about having fresh taro instead of the fake powder !? That’s crazy. This place has high quality bubble teas. I never had a nasty or poor quality drink from this place and I’ve tried many different types of their drinks. The store itself is so cute, and it smelled like fresh waffles when I came in most recently! The employees have the average “meh” attitude but I don’t mind that. It’s NY after all, it’s just the average attitude anywhere. I will come here again and again! I love the black tea latte with taro pearls
