Came to Queensbury from Albany for work. Stopped by here for lunch and it was really good. Roast beef sandwich & tots were delicious, and affordable! The ladies at the drive-thru were very pleasant as well, which made the experience even better! Definitely returning when I am in Queensbury again.

Revisiting Mr. B's Beef and Cheddar after more than a decade since my last taste in New York was a trip down memory lane. Having relocated to Los Angeles, I was eager to relive the flavors of my youth. However, I couldn't help but notice that something had changed since my last visit in 2010. Growing up in the area, I cherished my trips to Mr. B's Best, where a Beef and Cheddar Sandwich, a side of tots, and a refreshing Hawaiian Punch were staples of my childhood. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me with mixed feelings. My brother, who still resides in the area, mentioned that since the onset of COVID, the restaurant hasn't quite been the same, and I must concur. While the Beef and Cheddar sandwich was good, it did seem somewhat drier than the mouthwatering version I fondly recall. On the bright side, the tater tots remained unchanged, delivering the same deliciousness I remembered. Given the circumstances, we opted for the drive-through service, as the interior was only open on select days. It's my hope that Mr. B's can find a way to restore their Beef and Cheddar sandwiches to their former glory, capturing the essence of the flavors that made them a local favorite for so many years.
This place has changed a lot. I used to love going here for the best roast beef sandwiches in upstate New York. When I immediately walked in yesterday, I was hit by a heavy greasy fried food smell. I can still smell it in my clothes right now. I got the beef sandwich - it was $6.99 and it was tiny and dry. I did not get a lot for my money. I ordered a small drink and it was practically the size of a shot glass. The folks working there didn’t make me feel welcome either. What happened to MrB roast beef? What a shame. They hit fifty years and fell apart.

I’ve been going here on and off for 35 minutes, the food has always been consistent, but the price now for what you get is outrageous. I grabbed a portion of there chicken tenders $8.87 came with 2 small chicken tenders I won’t be going back sad to say

not sure if they changed the bun on Best Beef for good, but its not as good as the other one they had, way too much bread! Short staffed, but friendly.

Tried to go through the drive through with 2 other cars in the lane at 640pm. Everything online shows the store closes at 7:00 pm. Was advised over the speaker, due to short staff they closed early. (Mind you 2 cars in front of me had their order taken)Everyone is short staffed, this has now been a crutch for businesses to deny services or fall short of expectations.
