“We were to meet my son & family in Lake George to celebrate their anniversary Sat 6/24/23. He told us to meet them a the East Cove Restaurant at 5:30pm. They're not there, we go to the bar as we have in the past. Get a drink & ask about the reservation - there is none. We get a phone msg, they told us the told us the wrong restaurant, errrr!. They're at George's which is only 100 yds up the road. "You're killin' me Smalls." After that hiccup everything at George's was excellent. This is a prime rib, steak, & seafood restaurant. Our waitperson, Richard T was pleasant, helpful, & efficient. Two Fiddlehead IPA ($8ea) and two Banfi pinot grigios ($11ea) during our meal. My bride had broiled haddock w/ a side of cauliflower ($28+$4) which was almost double the portion generally served in restaurants. I had the pork shank osso bucco w/ mashed potatoes ($31) and their very popular salad bar. A large & tender shank w/ a very good demi-glace. Very nice offering excellently prepared & served. "Our steaks and ribs are hand cut and house seasoned Entrees Include choice of salad bar or soup du jour / clam chowder and choice of starch" - George's. Also had the stuffed mushroom appetizer ($12) and a basket of garlic bread w/ pesto (chef's compliment). Also two petit prime rib dinners ($35ea) & a very large "Kids" spaghetti & meatballs ($15) George's offers excellent food & service. Note: And not just b/c my son is friends with the chef, Nick DeJesus. A great dinner as we have come to expect from the staff at George's. Open Thu-Mon 4-9pm. plenty of parking. “We had the most phenomenal dinner at Club Grill- (and always do!) Tonight was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Our server Lincoln was exceptional- warm, knowledgeable & incredibly attentive without ever feeling overbearing. He made us feel completely taken care of the entire experience.

My husband ordered the Wagyu filet mignon & I had the classic filet- both were insane. Perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and so flavorful we were still talking about them hours later. You could truly taste the quality and care in every bite.

“They absolutely were not exaggerating how legendary the reuben is, first of all.

This is a bar, to be clear. Yeah, its not atmospheric or pretty. That's not what it's for. Yeah, the prices feel a little steep, but the second you see the food- and then the second you taste the food- you will ABSOLUTELY understand why. It was our first time of what I am certain will be MANY. there was trivia happening which also seemed super fun.

I can't overstate how QUICKKKK and attentive the service was for a huge packed establishment on a Friday night. Our server (can't remember her name, but she had awesome curls) was so quick and efficient but still super friendly, which is a tough balance!!

I got the redneck burger, which was a PEEERFECTTTT textbook-worthy medium rare. My partner got the reuben which left him speechless, he'd been wanting to try it forever and was not let down. The wings (we got carolina gold) were also EXCELLENT. My mule was absolutely decent, his beer was a beer.

Everything was great. Everything.

Don't expect cushy chairs or mood lighting. Expect a FAAAAANTASTIC meal and a fun time. You wont be disappointed.“
