My mother and sister and I each had a shrimp cocktail that was perfect. And I also had a French onion soup. That was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is quaint and relaxing.

We were seated quickly. The restaurant was busy, but not packed. The wait staff was frenzied and tripping over one another. We waited a long time to be acknowledged and when someone did come to take our order, they turned and walked away before we could say anything. After we finally ordered only two of us were served and they had to make the order for the 3rd person in our party. (We were all on the same check) The food was mediocre at best. Eggs were ok. The hash was awful. Very salty and inedible. We mentioned that, but there was no compensation for that or the missing meal. Will not be returning.

The atmosphere was honestly the only redeeming quality. We were told to seat ourselves then waited about 15 minutes to be served, the food was flavorless, our server had an attitude the whole time and treated us as an afterthought until she abandoned us, the guy that got us the checks was very friendly. I can tell why it wasn't very busy

Pretty disappointed after trying for the first time. My plate was brought to me full of oil from the onion rings which soaked my chicken wrap. Not many side options especially if you want something more healthy. Although I didn't feel the service was 100% up to par the lady was nice enough to give me a discount to try to make up for it. Overall I probably will not return.

Stopped in for food an a drink , but the older lady tending bar made sure to let us know she was closing in 2 hours - The restaurant and bar was completely empty, must be a nice place for others tho ! Nice guy at the door - best thing we can say .

The Tavern is great for all diners - a family-friendly restaurant that has cozy booths and great food. My favorite item is the salad, but the Tavern is known for their burgers, sandwiches, and specials as well. Penny is the server that elevates the experience!
