“I don't know where to start with Mr. Ventrys. It was great on Pierce Avenue, when it was both locations, and it's still going strong solely on The Blvd. I have RARELY encountered a restaurant that is consistent EVERY SINGLE TIME. You crave what you got the last three times? It will be JUST AS GOOD the fourth time you order it. Consistency is so important when running a business; It shouldn't depend on who is working that day, what mood the cook is in, etc... This is how you do it. “Always allow second chances. Sadly, it's been years since I've had the food here. I was greatly surprised at the quality! Where can you get a fish fry on a Monday?! Right here and it was good! We had a steak and cheese sub over all delicious! Thinking fresh baked roll as well. Lastly, a calzone. All and and all it was delicious, yeah, a bit pricy, but tastey 😀“

“Had High expectations as my mom always visits David's when she crosses the boarder. Had the shrimp tacos although the shrimp was BIG and JUICY and FLAVOURFUL the coleslaw underneath was so BLAND. My husband had the jalapeno brisket burger which he enjoyed with sweet potato fries which were AMAZING. i would go back and try something else next time and for sure get the sweet potato fries!“

“I feel like I walked into the neighborhood pizza spot and bar- if I lived nearby, I’d probably pop down here for a pizza pretty often. Still, the service was friendly, prompt and kind. I got the mini pizza special- 2 slices of pizza and a coke for $4?! And these weren’t tiny pieces of pizza. It was an eighth tray, the dough was thick, the cheese was cheesy, and the onions I added were plentiful. My husband liked his “for me” special- also two slices, but with 5 wings. (I also enjoyed when my North Carolinian husband ordered buffalo wings and the server said, “honey, we’re IN Buffalo”. Absolutely adorable!)

We were hoping to grab some pizza and beer, but unfortunately, there seems to be some trouble with their liquor license. The Coke we got instead was flat-ish, but hey, it’s better than Pepsi!
