“Romby's is a little treasure in St.Catharines if you are looking for cold reasonably priced beer and great inexpensive food. Take a drive to Romby's..the brisket sandwich was spiced to perfection Delish ! .My friends ordered the rice bowl filled with veggies and chicken. Our server Ann was lovely and friendly..she was the only server on a busy soccer game day! Thank you for your great service! Bravo!! Definitely coming back on date night with my boyfriend. Lol“

“Ordered from Domino's today morning and wow, they nailed it. The pizza was very good – hot, cheesy, with that perfect crispy-yet-chewy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of sauce. I went for a classic pepperoni with extra cheese, and it tasted way better than expected. Seriously, one of the best chain pizzas I've had in a while.
Delivery was super fast – ordered around 11 AM and it arrived in under 25 minutes, piping hot and perfectly packed. The driver was friendly too. Great job, team! This hit the spot on a busy evening. Will definitely order again soon.“

“if you go through my reviews, you'll see that reviewing restaurants is kind of my thing. I love to cook great food so I don't go to restaurants as much as most others do, but when I do go, I have expectations. Also, I have no desire to blow smoke up anyone's butt because I don't want to waste your time or my reputation. food means too much to me to lie to you so it is with pleasure that I write this review about Some Place Else!

let's start with proper expectations. Traditionally speaking, this is NOT a restaurant, it is more of a Tavern/bar that serves food so if you are looking for a fancy place to impress a first date, this is not the place, this might be where you go after the date if you like to sing karaoke but this, for lack of a better word is a blue collar joint!

On to the food. The food served here is simple, every day type food. burgers, fish and chips, wings and the odd sandwich. what makes this place special, is the Owner! I wish I got her name but she came to our table personally and made sure we understand what we ordered, made some suggestions if we wanted to save some money and explained options that were not exactly on the menu. for example, I ordered the philly cheese steak wrap, but she explained that I could also get it on a sub sandwich bun instead of the wrap and offered to cut up some green peppers if I wanted to put in the sandwich. The sandwich was very, very good and I'm so happy she offered the bun instead of the wrap. Also, the french fries are hand cut and tasted like real potatoes.. I didn't try the gravy but I wish I did because this was home made fresh stuff.
my wife got a burger, I tasted it and it wasn't some pre frozen burger patty, it was a home made, real beef burger and tasted nice. I got a look at the wings too and they were nice and big which is nice. The food came quickly and hot and with a smile. the prices were reasonable and the portions sizes were good.
what meant the most to me, is that you could tell that the owner cared about your experience and wanted to make sure you were happy and that, is a recipe for a good meal.

“Had an amazing experience at Churches Chicken today. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavour, but what really made the visit stand out was the customer service. Kamalpreet and Joban were absolutely brilliant — welcoming, polite, and genuinely went above and beyond to make everything perfect. You can tell they really care about the customers and take pride in their work. Service like that is rare these days. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had at Churches Chicken. Will 100% be coming back!“

Sound: The older gentleman who took my order clearly had no time for the slightest small talk, but it did seem like it was just starting to get busy. Abrupt, but not rude. “This place doesn't get credit for how busy it is or that it's a fast food place. People rate harshly for miner issues. Obviously They have never worked in this environment. I get it, things get messed up, happens to every business. What sets this one apart is that they actually go out of their way to fix it! They forgot cheese on my breadsticks and send another order. This costs them money. They answered the phone, and were kind and helpful. Even wrote sorry on the box. In the end we got our breadsticks and they also offered a credit first.

“The server was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious but there was an employee sweeping the floors what I would believe in slow mode, but he had extremely strong body odor and was constantly walking past our table, making it very hard to enjoy the food“

“I did not know Pizza Hut moved a few blocks down, found it. 😀 Mahadi was very nice taking my order, I just wanted a simple order and pizza for a low price under my budget. He made me a small pan dish pepperoni 🍕 with a bottle of Pepsi. I was happy with it, hot to bite in but still a good pizza. Pizza Hut for me is just a quick go to place for a pan dish. Haven’t had it in more than 25 years. So 4 ⭐️ from me out of 5.“
