“A&W has never let me down, it is the only fast food that I will go to, the breakfast is cooked to your specifications and brought to your table and the coffee is perfect. “after i didnt get much vegetables in my burrito bowl (by preference), the man working asked if i wanted more rice, which i gladly accepted. the machine asks for tips, which i dont like. it was kind of hard to hear what the guy behind the counter was asking me. overall the food, especially the pulled pork, was delicious. i would come back here for sure! the bowls are an amazing portion size for the price. even with an empty stomach it was almost too much!!“

“There are hot dog stands and then there is Al's Hot Rod BBQ. The "Hot Rod" in the name made me curious so I had to check it out. It turns out the food stand is in the shape of a red hot rod! What unique idea! Makes you remember the name. It is located just outside a Canadian Tire Automotive Centre. They tend to sell hot rods so it is fitting to be there! Prices are about the same as at any hot dog stand in 2023. Small potato chip bags and pop is also sold. There is no free WiFi. The food stall is wheelchair accessible. There are no washrooms. The staff (owners?) are the loveliest (I arrived after closing time and they took my order with a smile without even mentioning that they were cleaning up already). “I ordered my meal on doordash and there was an issue with the app on the restaurants end. When i arrived to pick up my order she explained the situation to me and was very courteous and helpful. I ordered at the register instead and got my meal quickly.I ordered chicken shawarma on the rocks and it’s so good. Fantastic service and food.“

“This is for the 4th Ave St Catharines location.Let me start with this.. Ever listen to a radio station that is one notch out of tune? Well, this is the music playing in this place. How very painful to hear 75% of a song as it goes in and out of reception. And that's easy listening meal time music.. how very unsettling. I've been there 2 other times and you'll never believe me when I say the music was exactly the same every time! Like everyone is deaf.The sub was good but took forever on a Sunday... I am a self-proclaimed Firehouse sub lover! I hope someone does something about the atmosphere in there......cheers ?Rick“

“I ordered the steak and cheese and it was the best sub I have had in a very long time I have been to this location twice and both times the sub was amazing last time it was the meatball but the only thing that upset me was it was so busy that I stood in line for 35 minutes but it wasn't the guy's fault it was three people in the store already waiting in line and a huge family walk in the door right before me so there was a lot of people but that is my only complaint with this place the food is good and it was really clean and the vegetables actually looked fresh like they were just cut other than the lettuce but what do you expect lolWheelchair accessibility: It is not really wheelchair accessible there is a ramp for the walkway but it's got a huge lip on it and the door is pretty heavy and there's a huge lip on the doorway as well so it is accessible but it won't be easy“
“Instantly greeted with a smile and a "Welcome to Mary Browns" when I walked through the door. Customer service is alive and well at this place, which is very rare these days. The food speaks for itself, Mary Browns will always be one of my favorite medium speed food places.“
