My friend and I were on a three night getaway that we do every summer to celebrate our birthdays. This seemed to be one of the best options in the area, and there were SO many cars in the parking lot which told a story. It was a Thursday night. So we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Our meals were great. I had a side of spaghetti and I think that was the best red sauce for spaghetti that I have ever had!
What a jewel of a place! Very busy but they ran it like the pros. We were traveling and looking for down home cooking...thank you chef! Our waitress was sweet and funny, thank you too. That clam chowder was perfect! Not overloaded with potatoes like some places do. Wish you were closer to my home in Virginia.

We are new to Central New York, and The Cottage Inn is one of the very few "local" places with great selections, great food & the best service. Make sure you make reservations or you may have a wait, this is the local hot spot and is packed full on Friday & Saturday nights.We have tried many of the specials, and the seafood platter & prime rib are our favorites.
