“Every time we cross the border and visit Ogdensburg, we eagerly have a meal at this JRECK subs location.

I think our first visit was about 15 years ago and we have always liked the food.

On a recent visit in May 2026, we saw that the inside of the restaurant has been modernized. It was always clean and well-kept, but now, it is even nicer.

The staff have always been attentive.

And the food has always been a treat. The delicious steak and mushroom hot sub as well as the Italian sub always leave us satisfied. I also really love the deep-fried battered mushrooms and cauliflower side-dishes.

I know that locals eat there often. I am glad that the business has community support and I hope to eat there again very soon.”

At this point, if I ever did get a bad meal, I'd probably assume I accidentally walked into the wrong restaurant.

“Went in for a sub and Gentlemen says they serve Mexican food now
So we got a sub and Mexican. Subs are always great but the Burrito and chips I got my Fiancé OMG. He’s a big foodie himself and he LOVED it. We will definitely be back for Mexican food I love it was made the way we want it like an assembly line just like the subs. For someone with onion allergies it’s a life saver to pick what you want in you Mexican food.”

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from since you pick your own Deli items.

Kid-friendliness: Enough room in casual restaurant for the kids but no play area.”

“I’d really love to give Tim Hortons my business because I love their kettle chips. However the last 4 the last 4 ... 4 times. I ordered them and didn’t get them. Each time I stupidly didn’t check and each time I didn’t have time to go back. Finally decided to write a review over it... don’t order the kettle chips unless you don’t want kettle chips 😂”
