We've lived in Rhinbeck since 2002, and as many locals and visitors know, there is no shortage of fine dining in our small town! Gigi's continues to surprise me by expanding seasonally, each year with new, delicious, and varied menu items. They keep the local faves like the Barbina salad, Bianca skizza, and truffle fries, to name a few, but add intriguing and tantalizing menu items each season. Special shout out to mixologist Kelly who mixes superb cocktails, including delicious frozen saki and spirits drinks, all the while whizzing around chatting, laughing and, just like at Cheers, knows everybody's names!

There's lots of food, but it is a bit pricey.
Food service was terrible. Waiter was a ghost. “Food will be out shortly” = 15 more minutes after already waiting a half hour. Lots of food flying out of the kitchen but none of it was for our table. Had to take our food to go, which we couldn’t eat as it had to be left in the car during the show we were seeing at 730. We got there at 6.

Our second visit & loved the truffle fries with oil! Vegan menu .
Sat outside on patio. Beautiful heavy white linen tablecloths and napkins. Daughter ordered turmeric spritzer 8.00 & enjoyed it. Son-in-law & I saved money by not ordering a beverage. Paul enjoyed the Il Giardino flatbread with vegetables! He said the Sicilian Cauliflower was not as good as first time, but was exceptional the 1st time they had it.
No non-alcoholic beer. Fried oyster appetizer was small. Caesar salad for 14.00 was okay. Bianca pizza was tasty with goat cheese, etc. Waiting for check, & he brought over dessert menu. So, I got
tiramisu to go for 11.00. Cup
size portion. Exasperated over prices, but nothing is going to change that. 116.78 plus 25.00 tip. Special occasion, & the quiet atmosphere outside was worth it.
I was very excited to try Gigi's as I've heard good things but was a tad disappointed. I understand prices are up but they seem high for what you get. I also understand organic and locally sourced food is more expensive as I tend to purchase them as well. There were 7 of us at the table. The server was pleasant and attentive. We all ordered dishes from the specials menu. The salads were okay but expensive for the portion size. I ordered the Baccala with cockels. It was extremely salty ( and I like salty foods). I know Baccala is a preserved fish and it's soaked overnight which should decrease that taste of saltiness but it didn't. It had no accompanying vegetables, potato or even some good crusty bread ( for dunking). I would have had to ordered a side vegetable ( $15) or Fries ($12). I tasted a small slice of the special skizza ( eggplant) and that was excellent. I'd like to return as I'd like to try a few more items off the menu to truly judge the quality. I wouldn't order the same dish and perhaps the server could suggest ordering a side when the main dish doesn't come with anything else.

If you havenβt eaten at Gigis in rhinebeck I highly recommend it. They have such a great menu and straight off the menu anyone with any dietary restrictions can find something delicious to eat. Iβve been there only once before and loved it then but I really appreciated the menu even more tonight. Such great options.

Harvest gnocchi had a random mix of vegetables that did not go together, shiitake mushrooms, peas, possibly a carrot and roasted bell pepper. Gnocchiβs were tough and lacking in salt. The βmargarita pizzaβ was a cheese pizza with barely any basil (no tomato) and bland. The lamb skewers were good. The shrimp was cooked well and had a good flavor but still lacking in salt. The gigantes beans were cooked nicely and were very flavorful just lacking salt. The lasagna bolognese was great with a flavorful sauce which i really enjoyed! Overall the food was undersalted.

Loved this restaurant! We had a lovely round of drinks from their fun menu; sake margarita and a black cosmo? The service was good, our server started strong and did get slower as our meal went on but the restaurant also got busy so it made sense. Luckily they had busboys helping out. All the meals we had were delicious, specifically the burrata appetizer. We also had the most delicious sweet potato cheesecake for dessert, it might be seasonal though so go in now! Also our chocolate martinis were to die for, props to the bartender. It was a bit pricey but had a lovely chic and fancy vibe. My whole party really enjoyed our dinner here, highly recommend a visit!

Best burger Iβve ever had honestly, tons of gluten free options and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Iβll definitely be back for another meal soon.
