Best mole I've ever had. Really authentic food with great service in a fun spot. Enchiladas were banging and the carne asada platter had large portions. Delicious cemitas and tamales too

Best Mexican in Ridgewood! The pozole and enchiladas are my go to's but I have never had anything from here that wasn't delicious. All of the soups are worth visiting for. The service is always so friendly - very easy to visit here a couple times per month if you live nearby !
Love it, but prefer more tortillas when ordering plates or and

Very good food, I usually order the molcajete and the chillate de pollo from this place, on this occasion I had a hair in the soup, I contacted them and they sent me another soup, on top of that I had to pay for the plastic containers (there are no problem) but the soup they sent me also had a hair!Unfortunately it is not possible so they have to improve their quality.

I've lived in the neighborhood 20 years, long enough to remember Guadalajara De Dia 1 and when both restaurants served solid Mexican food to Mexican families and those who enjoyed authentic home style food. As the area changed they kept serving good solid food even though the clientele is now mostly young white " kids" fresh to New York and fresher to Ridgewood, Qns.... but recently something has changed. The food is not as fresh as it used to be. I used to order extra beans and rice just because they were that good!!! Maybe the humble older guy who ran the place for years got tired.... I don't know. I hope they are just having a bad couple of weeks. Maybe there is a new cook or a new owner... This is not the place that it used to be. I am sad.Vegetarian options: nothing to say

The mole enchiladas are really tasty, more on the sweet side though. It comes with a big side of rice and beans that are just as good. Good vibes and authentic food. Will come again!

This is my favorite restaurant in Ridgewood. To call it the elephant's adenoids wouldn't even begin to do it justice.
