Great service and good food! We got the bacon cheeseburger & poached eggs, along with the war style potatoes which I highly recommend.

Beautiful ambiance. We ordered drinks, and the beer and wine came to our table 10min apart, which just wasn't acceptable. The food was very good, albeit salty and small portions. One item came out cold and was sent back, so the kitchen's timing could be better. The waitress we had was very nice but didn't understand why we expected our two drinks brought to the table at the same time. The burger was sold out early (before 7:30)

I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.

Service was great, drinks were great, food was great. But please don’t order the $48 wagyu skirt steak. My jaw is gonna be in recovery for the next week with how much I had to chew tonight. Toughest steak I’ve ever had.

The burger and "war-style" potatoes here are genuinely top-tier. I would put the burger here above Au Cheval's and would seriously consider coming back out here to Ridgewood for it. The "war-style" spicy sesame sauce was a novel unexpected flavor bomb that we liked so much we ordered a second portion. Our group was divided on the polenta breads - they were flavorful with nice puffy texture out of the oven but nothing spectacular. The famous green lasagna was also tasty but the filling was unevenly distributed, so one of my friends got a piece with almost no cheese or filling in it. Rigatoni was decent but not especially memorable. The dessert list is quietly impressive - had a rhubarb tart that was a delightful surprise.

One of my favorite places in Ridgewood! The wagyu steak and burger are fantastic! Everything here is so good and it's family style so you can try a lot of different things!

This place was ridiculously good. I set an alarm to get a reservation 1 month in advance and it was so worth it. The polenta bread was spicer than I expected so be careful if you have a low spice tolerance. The ambiance was so moody and cute. The service was great too although they did rush us out for the next party. I posted about it on ig as well @foodieinsidernyc. I'll definitely be back.

Came back for dinner. Had the olive oil + salt and Calabrian chili butter polenta bread, head on shrimp, rigatoni, pork t-bone, and apple tart. Delicious, can’t say enough things!

We came for two of our friend's bday celebration and everything was great! They offered a pre-fix menu and we added a la carte. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and let me tell you, these small plates were amazing! I forgot to take a photo of the prosciutto but goddamn that was delicious! The mortadella was one of the best I've ever had. The lasagna is not your typical Lasagna but it so good! Could have used a little more sauce though. The head on shrimps were messy but delicious. Definitely get the potato's war style! Every dish had such great flavors. The rib eye and pork chops were a little over done to my liking. The hanger steak was perfect! I'd skip the rib eye and just get the hanger steak. I have to come back earlier next time to try and snag a burger!

So this visit was not planned and my husband randomly chose this place as I've never heard of Rolo's. We arrived at 4pm and apparently they have a break from 3-5pm for the transition of brunch to dinner but seating for drinks at the bar is allowed. We said hey why not, its only an hour. We asked to be put on a wait list and were the first ones. Keep in mind, what I learned about Rolo's once 5pm hits itll be a mad house. Either you make a reservation or come 30ish mins early and get put on a waitlist otherwise all tables WILL be taken up once the dinner service starts. Alex was our wonder bartender, answered all questions we had and kindly made sure we were aware of all the things I stated above. We started off with the spicy pineapple marg. It was good but a spicy drink was never my thing and too much of it doesnt sit well with me. I opted for a mango margarita for my next drink and it was delicious. He definitely knew how to make a drink. For being put on a waitlist we got a really nice corner booth, I loved it and the vibes of the 2nd room where the kitchen was located. By 5:15 every single table was taken, I never seen such a thing and very impressed. Main reason why my husband chose this place was for the burgers, it's supposed to be one of the best...so here we are. I was told these burgers get sold out within the first hour or so. We started off with the sea salt and olive oil polenta bread accompanied by an order or prosciutto. The bread was smaller than I thought because then I would've ordered 2 but it was superrrrrrr soft and yummy, it went perfectly with the prosciutto but I wish the cut was saltier than it was, you just tasted more of the fat. Next. The main event. The burger everyone talks about. Cooked to perfection. Very juicy. A wonderful and delicious burger but not the best that I've tried as everyone says. It's super filling. We also ordered a side of potatoes. These were super crispy wedges. Very good! As for the sauce that came with it, It was not my favorite and I'm a sauce girl. I was excited to try dessert but I simply couldn't finish. Our waitress, im sorry I couldnt remember her name, super kind, always came around to refill our waters. Everyone that worked here all worked together and you can feel their great energy. I would love to come back and try their steaks, pastas, and their known for lasagna. Definitely recommend but remember go EARLY before dinner service opens or make a reservation.
