Honestly walked in with low expectations because as a Jamaican “Jamaican Food” in NY isn’t always good. This was great, 10/10, would recommend. Home made vibe and great flavor. Oh! Try the bulla/dessert.
I heard this place is under new management— I am very picky when it comes to Jamaican food, but this place was honestly one of the best I’ve had on Long Island. Pretty hefty portions, and everything tasted great. (& even better the next day) the server was very kind and patient with me. I got a veggie patty and my sister got a beef patty, both were amazing and neither of us can finish ours in one sitting. This place is far from me, but I will be making a stop next time...
Food was great. Was like getting food from a lunch line. Had mac and cheese and chicken. It was all good. Dining room was cold with one table. Staff disappeared after ordered. Did not appear again. Finished eating and left.
