“Barrow is a Williamsburg want to be. The pseudo health food is anything but. Their chicken wrap was below standard, no taste, all mayonnaise. The service inexistant if you call handing two napkins and forks to a customer as service. Water is self-service from piled up plastic cups and carafes .It was a very disappointing experience.“

“It was my first time & Jerry and the Mermaid & my server was named Lynn. She was a very sweet woman who made my experience even more enjoyable. The oysters were very fresh & briney the way that I like them & me & my friend were seated fairly quickly. The espresso martinis were soooo good, definitely recommend that if you’re into those. “One of the best gluten free places around! Yet, gluten full is also available and you have to tell the waiter if you are gluten free to be safest. They have an excellent quinoa bowl with chicken and very tasty chicken burger. Their fries are the best. It's a great place to try if you are gluten free or not. Can't wait to go back.“

“What a little treasure in Riverhead! Delicious food in a comfortable atmosphere right on the Peconic River. The Chicken Adana was beautifully presented. I also had a small Chicken Lemon soup, which was flavorful and filled with chicken. I highly recommend! Very nice family who run the eatery too !!!“

“Great little spot in Riverhead, behind town. Old firehouse converted to a brewery, brilliant. The beer was great. We had Butternut Squash! Also the food truck was good, a Wing place. They had fried chicken but tasty. Boneless was good, fried pickles were good and the chili was really good. Overall, a cool, local hangout. The lights inside probably should be a bit dimmer, it has that town board/school meeting lighting type of feel. Too bright which gave it one star less for me. Daytime probably has no issues. Other than that, it was cool! Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!“

“My wife, friends and I just went there. Had the Steak tips and garlic bread, wife had the blacked mahi mahi, one friend got the Cajun burger. Holy Crap... Amazing food. Then we needed a take out vegetarian meal for the Mother in Law. She freaking loved it.Thanks again to the owner and the staff who were funny as hell. Also the other customers were great. Great atmosphere and great people all around!!!

“MEMBERS ONLY....thank you to our friend who bought us in to try this place out. Wines were ok, I'm more of a sweet person so this place wasn't for me. I like that they have nonalcoholic options for our other friend who can't drink alcohol. The Verju was pretty good and I bought a bottle home, it's very tasty. Although I didn't care for the wine, the staff was very nice and it was a relaxing area to hang out with friends“

“Stopped here for dinner before a show at the Suffolk Theater last weekend. My husband wanted to see if we could find something else, and I for once already knew what I wanted from here. Long story short, we ordered and waited for our food started up a conversation with 2 other couples also going to the show. We saw their food come out and we got excited, everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. One man running the restaurant. Bravo Sir !! we were pleasantly surprised and impressed. We will definitely be back.

“We’ve been going to BIRCHWOOD for over 15 years. Love the food, I never had a bad dish..ever! Also I had my 40 surprise birthday party there as well as having my daughters sweet 16. The staff and the family are great people and they have great events there all year long.“
