Abbott's Frozen Custard is about the best frozen custard you can get anywhere. Sadly, they know this, and they charge you a whole lot for it. It's unfortunate. The days of making your customers happy with a good value are long gone, now it's all about the money grab.
Very simple flavors, classic ice cream parlor. The cookie (sandwich) wheels were pretty bad - the cookies were clearly not made in house and the vanilla ice cream was bland and had a strange aftertaste. Cones were stale as well so I'd recommend getting a milkshake or ice cream in a bowl. Staff was wonderful though and it had a nice patio.
When we are in the area this is a convenient location just off an expressway with easy access. We are pleased that the excellent meals and service have been maintained. The place was clean and workers are continually moving about keeping it that way. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable for the meals. For the first time we tried the custard ice cream as it had as a special daily offering our favorite flavor pistachio. It was excellent. Sorry...
