Ambience, pricing, and quality of food was great. Plating could have been better, and lacking salt and pepper on the table.
On arrival, we went to the bar for a cocktail. The Italian Old Fashioned is great. We moved to a high-top table in the lounge for dinner. My wife had the Chicken Scallopini and I choose 2 appetizers, an order of meatballs and the fried calamari. All of the food looked and tasted wonderful. The bar and restaurant was very busy on this Friday night as it was opening night for the Rochester Jazz Fest. Our server, Tara, covered the bar and the lounge, was very personable and efficient. Overall, a great experience.
Again, Amore provided a delicious meal. You'd never know that you are in a grocery store as it has its own entrance and restrooms! We shared a calamari app with our cocktails. Our entrees were shrimp scampi and chicken parm. Both came with appropriate pasta. Bread was supplied and replenished; just ask, it doesn't appear automatically. Service was attentive. The drinks are a bit pricey but generous and well made. Amore is not an everyday stop, but very enjoyable. We hope they bring back lunches which were a real bargain.
Another fabulous experience at Amore! We were a party of 6 and it was a relaxing, delicious dinner. Thank you!
We dined in the Main dining room on the first floor. The ambience is lovely. Service was very accommodating. Two of us had the crab/pasta dish which was very rich and delicious; another had the Salmon which was a little over done. We ordered the Calamari as a starter and that was excellent. The bread was cold and served with butter. It would have been nice for the bread to be warm and served with an interesting oil. We ordered tiramisu, a lemon tart and the Madagascar vanilla ice cream with espresso. The ice cream with espresso was excellent; the tiramisu was average and the lemon tart was quite good. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We would return again. Our server, Jocelyn, was very accommodating. She made good suggestions.
Amazing service and food! Our waitress Jordyn was so kind and attentive. The meals were delicious and flavorful. Thank you to the team for a great night!
Our first time at Amore. It is a beautiful restaurant, the food was delicious and the quantity was...too much, and our server was perfecto.
Great service-waiter (Andrew), love the ambience, great cocktails, loved the surprise Prosecco (anniversary), great food (shrimp scampi, cavatelli with Bolognese). À+
Great food. Outstanding service. A kind and caring ambiance. Andrew makes us feel loved. He is kind and caring. The kitchen served us two great meals. And the support staff completed the package.
We were greeted enthusiastically by Alyssa and Claudia. Andrew provided excellent service with attention to detail. The food was as always spectacular! Thank you, Pasquale, Claudia, Bailey, Jake and the team!

Absolutely delicious. We had the calamari which was some of the best I’ve ever had. I had the Amore Salad which was huge and delicious. It had goat cheese and candied pecans. So good. I didn’t want a large meal intentionally so next time going to try the chicken parmigiana.

Just left this restaurant with a terrible experience. First of all, we sat in the lounge area at a very nice high top. The bar was full, and every high top was full and all trying to be serviced by the lone bartender. Now she is supplying all the restaurant's drink orders and trying to serve dinners to over 26 patrons in her area also. How do you think that experience was? With all the responsibility she had, she stayed very calm and did the best she could with no management or help coming to her aid! I ordered the special, Crispy Cod. It came with a tablespoon of AWFUL cole slaw and shoestring fries which were pretty tasty. We asked for catsup and were brought a thimble cup to share between the two of us, completely ridiculous. Now to the main course, the Crispy Cod. It was TERRIBLE. It was the consistency of mashed potatoes that was breaded. Total Mush ! Something was wrong with this fish. Frozen and thawed and left to sit in a liquid, who knows but the chef ! I tried two small tastes and asked our waitress to remove it. she apologized and offered another dish, but I declined. Never did management or the chef come to our table to enquire. I paid my bill and left and never will be back. Shame on Wegmans for allowing this to happen not only with sub-par management but with terrible food quality. I can see why your online rating is poor !!!!!
PS
4days later just had a call from the manager of Amore apologizing and defending her quality of food. She explained to me she personally trains all her staff and they all try to please. Did not take responsibility or tell what she did to rectify this poor experience. She did offer me a free drink if I would come back for another experience. I dont think so.

We are greeted like family and treated like royalty. Dawn is an excellent server and as always, the food is outstanding!
Great staff, great service, terrific atmosphere, and excellent food! We asked for a quiet table and that is what we got. Amore made celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary a memorable experience.
I found the menu to be limited and the food quality was fair. The ambience was very nice but I do not plan to return based on the limited options and food quality.
