I have been to Amore numerous times and EVERY time the service is extremely slow. I like the food and that's why I go back but for a Wegmans restaurant you would expect top-notch service.

We 3 senior citizens placed our orders, the appetizer took a while to get, the waitress did not return for about 40 minutes to say the food was coming, she apologized for the delay and said we could have free deserts to make up for this , 2 were ordered . When we got the bill we were charged for 1 of the deserts.

Amore is my favorite restaurant. The food is consistently fabulous and I have brought many different friends there. They always comment on the ambience and the ability to actually hear eachother when we catch up on what's happening in our lives. Great service and we had a bottle of Riesling that was wonderful! Will be back many more times!

It was my husband's birthday. He ordered a chicken dish and made it quite clear that he didn't want a lot of "fat/oil" used in its preparation. The server gave it to him and it was DEEP FRIED. My husband who is on a strict diet couldn't eat one piece. When he explained to the server that he was not told it was deep fried the server said, "That's the only way we prepare it." It was replaced with a veggie lasagna that we took home. Please ensure the servers explain the chicken is deep fried. Thanks.

Always an enjoyable experience! Very excited the Short Ribs are back on the menu. The Fall Specials were a nice addition. Andrew our service, as always was exceptional.

The butternut squash pizza was perfectly done and a nice blend of flavors. Panzanella salad was delicious. Amore is consistently good quality and service.

The food was absolutely amazing, especially considering everything from the vegetables to the honey on one of the appetizers to the flowers on the table were all produced from Wegmans' organic farm. Presentation was lovely. My only criticism was that we felt very rushed. For a 6-course meal, a full two hours would have been more appropriate. We sometimes had new courses arriving before the plates had been cleared from the previous one. IT would have been an even more enjoyable evening if we'd had time to savor each course before being presented with a new one.

It was the second time we have been at Amore. We are blown away the the pasta is made fresh and is very good. I had chicken parm and the sauce was very good and the cover of the chicken was thick and crusty and the chicken moist. The only thing was the wine by glass was a bit expensive and the red wine list not as extensive as I would like to have to choose from.

Amore has a good choice of Italian food from small bites to full dinners. Food is very good

Always a great experience at Amore. Brought my cousin and his wife there for their first visit. They loved it too and said they will definitely come back.

I never expected a five star experience from a restaurant attached to a grocery store but my first ever visit to Amore on 8/2/2025 was absolutely outstanding! The decor is gorgeous and spotless. Service is top notch. The food was better than what I've enjoyed at high-end Italian restaurants in Manhattan and Chicago on business trips. Five stars all the way! Bravo to the chef and entire team!! And we've already booked our reservations for their 5 course meal event on 8/26. Can't wait!!

We wanted to try things we had not eaten before at Amore .Fried calamari was lightly battered and crunchy, very nice. Spritz flight was refreshing.( Wish server had told us which each drink was when he brought them, as opposed to just setting the three glasses in front of us and walking away. Despite the fact the appetizers came before the bar drinks. Which is no fault of the server.).The tiramisu and lemon tart were very nice. It was not very busy when we were there. Not a pleasant atmosphere. Hostess never smiled. Server did not spend much time at our table as soon as he was told we only wanted drinks, appetizer and desert. The chef was drinking from an uncovered glass while on the cook line and not wearing gloves. Also rubbing edge of blade of chef knife with bare fingers, once again no gloves. Food and drinks were very nice but staff did not meet the expectation or reputation set forth for Wegmans.

Ambience, pricing, and quality of food was great. Plating could have been better, and lacking salt and pepper on the table.

On arrival, we went to the bar for a cocktail. The Italian Old Fashioned is great. We moved to a high-top table in the lounge for dinner. My wife had the Chicken Scallopini and I choose 2 appetizers, an order of meatballs and the fried calamari. All of the food looked and tasted wonderful. The bar and restaurant was very busy on this Friday night as it was opening night for the Rochester Jazz Fest. Our server, Tara, covered the bar and the lounge, was very personable and efficient. Overall, a great experience.

Again, Amore provided a delicious meal. You'd never know that you are in a grocery store as it has its own entrance and restrooms! We shared a calamari app with our cocktails. Our entrees were shrimp scampi and chicken parm. Both came with appropriate pasta. Bread was supplied and replenished; just ask, it doesn't appear automatically. Service was attentive. The drinks are a bit pricey but generous and well made. Amore is not an everyday stop, but very enjoyable. We hope they bring back lunches which were a real bargain.
