On arrival, we went to the bar for a cocktail. The Italian Old Fashioned is great. We moved to a high-top table in the lounge for dinner. My wife had the Chicken Scallopini and I choose 2 appetizers, an order of meatballs and the fried calamari. All of the food looked and tasted wonderful. The bar and restaurant was very busy on this Friday night as it was opening night for the Rochester Jazz Fest. Our server, Tara, covered the bar and the lounge, was very personable and efficient....
Again, Amore provided a delicious meal. You'd never know that you are in a grocery store as it has its own entrance and restrooms! We shared a calamari app with our cocktails. We dined in the Main dining room on the first floor. The ambience is lovely. Service was very accommodating. Two of us had the crab/pasta dish which was very rich and delicious; another had the Salmon which was a little over done. We ordered the Calamari as a starter and that was excellent. The bread was cold and served with butter. It would have been nice for the bread to be warm and served with an interesting oil. We ordered tiramisu, a lemon tart and the Madagascar vanilla...
