Not sure if Bruegger’s knew what they were doing when they did it, but “it”, is done. Get the Vermonter and take your taste buds to a good place. That sweet cream cheese on a sweet corn bread type bun chews real well with a couple eggs, sausage, and bacon.
I've been to this one a few times in the last couple of months and I'm going to stick to Webster.I get my bagels toasted, with butter and then whatever cream cheese I'm choosing that day. Unfortunately, the bagels are never toasted enough. If there's such a thing as a lite toast, this is it. I had the sausage, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel and it was delightful. Exactly what I was expecting. They had no problem adding cream cheese to my husband's sandwich, and he loved it.
They are definitely a bagel place and not a coffee place, though. I had their decaf and it was weak, watery, and cold.
But I'm too happy with my sandwich and the bagels I brought home to stay mad about coffee.
