Drive thru fish fry pick-up tonight was excellent. Huge piece of beer battered fried fish that was perfectly crispy outside, tender and very moist fish inside. I have to say that this is one of if not THE best fish fry I have had in years!!

Chef's catered our wedding on 9/1/23 and it was absolutely perfect! From the appetizers, to the service, the buffet, to the late night snack of a mac and cheese bar, our guests were ranting and raving about the quality of the food and hospitality of the staff. Went to chefs bar and grill at Tim hortons ice plex. Really don’t bother. Staff rude. Says open till 11 kicked us out at 9…5 minutes after the bar served me a beer.

Chefs catered my wedding on 8.30.24. From start to finish with the whole planning process they were more than accommodating even when I changed my mind a few times! Everything was so delicious and had so many compliments on the food. Everyone at chefs is so friendly and communicative. I would definitely hire them again for future events.

We chose Chef's to cater our wedding reception at the Lodge at Shadow Hill this past weekend. They did an incredible job from start to finish. Jillian and her team are exceptional and focus on every detail to ensure things are exactly as they should be. This is a review I regret to write but only after my regret to involve Chefs Catering in one of the most important events I will ever host in my life, my Fathers celebration of life. We asked Chef’s Catering to roll a food truck so that those coming to celebrate with us would have the option to grab a bite to eat. We were told and agreed that there must be a minimum spent on the truck for the event otherwise we would need to purchase the amount if deficient. Totally understood and appreciated. We were told quite close to the end of the event that we were running way short, about $2800 worth. Though a bit disappointed we figured we would just settle up the following day with the bill and taking home a bunch of food that we would then distribute to his former place of work and maybe a non profit. The following morning I was told that we needed to settle on the $2800 and that we weren’t going to get anything. Not a single item. When I pushed back about why it was not made extremely clear the following day we were met with “sorry about the miscommunication”. Had we been told during the event that we were running that short and that our time to get what we were going to be paying for would soon expire I would have told everyone at the event to start ordering food and take something home for later. Knowing that they didn’t make that much food hoping to sell it I asked how much food was prepared ahead of the event, and if any, where was it. I was informed that they donated the food on the way home from the event. After that fact came out I was offered to settle on the bill for $2500. I am absolutely sickened that their miscommunication cost me that kind of money for nothing when it could have gone to the people at the event and others. It further sickens me that they donated food in their name to some organization instead of in my fathers name as I would have seeing as we paid for it. I will forever regret involving them in this event and having this negative experience be a part of his day.

My son & daughter in-law threw an after party to celebrate after their destination wedding.. I was in the business for over 30 years so you could say I’m critical when it comes to catered events…. Hands down, the best I’ve had in recent years…. Quality, quantity and service 5 stars! Wish I would have taken some pictures!

We held the Aquinas Football Banquet at Chef's Event Center on Jan 7th. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! Jill and her team executed on everything we asked for and more. Everyone was so pleasant to work with and the food was delicious. We also used them for our team Dinners throughout the season. The players and coaches loved the different entrees each week, they said it was the best food they have ever had for a team dinner. Thank you Jill Mike and team for everything throughout our season. We hope to build on this relationship for years to come.
