My friend and I met for lunch and were greeted with an easily accessible table. Our waitress was friendly and happy to chat with us without invading our space. The food was delicious, the jalapeño cheddar sausage and baked beans were the highlights of my combo platter.
1st the staff was very kind. I asked them how the sides were and they told me and allowed me to sample them. I absolutely loved the potato salad it was soo good and so were the baked beans. They had a nice kick to it. Also the greens were really good. Brisket was good but I was expecting better, maybe that’s why it was so cheap. The cornbread was super dry. Don’t recommend it. Gotta have a Dr Pep
Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.
