It's a good thing I work in Rochester (I live in Syracuse) and I'm right around the corner from J.B. Quimby's because I seriously CRAVE the food!The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very comfortable, clean and welcoming . The staff is attentive and very friendly. The food is OUTSTANDING! We have been getting take out from Quinbys since March of 2020. Turkey Ruben is excellent. The side option of salt potatoes is great as well. Looked like a few people were eating in the restaurant, spaced appropriately. We will return as well!
A fairly authentic feel. Every other bar is trying to be the next best thing. Quimbys is not trying to be anything other than Quimbys. It’s closer to a townie bar than anything else, but somehow you like it. Worth stopping in, plenty of seating and they feature a bear of the month with Wednesday specials. Decent food too. Wings being the best, other dishes a bit less.
