The 1872 Cafe is on the site where Susan B. Anthony illegally voted in Rochester almost 150 years ago, and is a warm, welcoming and inspiring place. Not only is the 1872 a handsomely designed and cozy cafe--its walls are literally inscribed with inspiring facts, quotes and more regarding our beloved Susan B. and the women's rights movement. Conveniently located in downtown Rochester--and very close to the Susan B. Anthony House and Museum.
Food was on time through grub hub and everything was delicious. I could do without the batter on the jumbo shrimp I love the cornmeal batter on the fish just wish it was a little more seasoned and wish my fish had the cornmeal batter but will ask for that next time. Love the seasoned fries and the haddock dinner on grubhub said it came with 3-4pieces but I got two but that was fine. The perch was good also but I prefer the haddock
