Fabulous service with our breakfast trays. The morning rush was in full swing, but we still got caring assistance as we picked up the food. Bagels are always excellent and the veggies were fresh and beautiful. The pastries were all excellent according to my team who are everyone. I cannot wait to repeat this order.

I purchased a dozen black and white frosted cookies for an event where I wanted the box of goodies to “wow” everyone. They looked great in the box until everyone picked one up and half of the frosting on each cookie came off on the one next to it. That was disappointing. The cookies should have been packed with parchment between them. They did taste great.

Malek's has new management and they are making amazing changes! the challah is fantastic, the best you can get in Rochester, and probably all of Western New York! They have a variety of pastries and other baked goods. I recently had a cannoli that was very good. They also have large cookies, including chocolate chip, that look delicious. There's too much for me to list so check it out for yourself. Also, they now have a few tables and chairs inside so you can meet a friend there to socialize and nosh.

I didn’t know this was a Jewish bakery. I’m not Jewish. I’m not anything. But I’ll tell you what I WAS— I was anxious and bumming to be in Rochester for a loved one’s medical procedure. I seriously needed some emotional support carbs and finally found them here after being disappointed by 2 other bakers before stopping in. Instant happy stg. I can’t remember what this yeasess pastry is, but it’s filled with apricots that must’ve been picked and processed by angels themselves. The lovely, layered linzer bar is amazing and the flavors taste just like it looks— however that is even possible. All the flavors stand distinct from each other while dancing together in your mouth. Like, phenomenal. I might wear it as a face mask tonight. Even my kids who claim not to like apricots are housing it.I also bought a new pair of boots and got a piercing today. I feel better. Thank you so much for providing the soul-healing food. ?

The donuts were great. The knish was outrageously good. I very much liked the Russian Coffee Cake. I only with the coffee they had was good to go with it. I highly recommend that they up their coffee game!
