We absolutley loved our evening at Max of Eastman Place! The ambiance is so nice - beautiful music, quiet enough to have a long conversation. The service was superb and the food...oh my excellence all around. From the soup (corn, seafood chowder) to the shrimp cocktail, to the filet mignon to the salmon. Not even a tiny misstep. This restaurant is a gem. We will come back for sure
Max Eastman has probably the finest food in all of Rochester. If this restaurant were in any other city you'd wait three months to get a reservation--it's that outstanding. The menu was just updated and I find the specials are creative and delectable. The challenge is in deciding! Service here is highly professional. We've dined her many times over the years and highly recommend it to those looking for fine cuisine, a refined environment, and excellent service.
