Been going here when they was called Yemani's. I was going here before the Feds raided (2001) them as if they were criminals. These my peoples!!!! Young boi tried to stab me in there and Joe disarmed the little MF. ???Big Shout out to Joe and Salah. #700 if you get a sub make sure that bread toasted.

Had no idea this place existed on North Street. So glad we stumbled upon it as the food is always fresh and tastes absolutely delicious. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. They actually remember who their customers are.There is a good selection on the menu and the prices are reasonable. The Country Sweet chicken wings are to die for.If we lived closer then we'd be there everyday!

Food value to price are extremely expensive. The Jamaican patties are ALWAYS hard and horrible.Thing is there are not many other options to eat on the East side near downtown.

Good place for fast pick up of wings and pizza

I'm from California, and was in town on a business trip. I wanted a Chopped Cheese. So I knew where I was in the downtown area, I would not get a real deal chopped cheese, I would get some gentrified attempt at chopped cheese which they pass off to tourists as authentic. So I asked some of the locals where I could get a good one. I was directed to this place right here, When I arrived, I seen a steady stream of people getting food (good indication of the food) I ordered chopped cheese, and a hot meat patty. Everything was so good. This was my first experience in like a real New York deli like I would see in movies. It was a beautiful experience, I had a chance to talk to some of the workers. They said that not a lot of people from the outside come to the spot, due to it being in a "bad" area. I let them know that I was not detoured by that, and I would always be, or go to where my people are. They have very loyal customers, and they now have a loyal customer way out here on the West Coast!!!
