This store is a hidden little gem on Hudson Ave. They have the best pierogi, a good selection of deli meats and authentic polish cakes. My kids are fond of the paczki, especially the ones brought in for fat Thursday. Such a special treat.
Disappointing Paczki experience. Unfortunately the Paczkis sold here that are delivered from Chicago didn't measure up to those I had while actually IN Chicago.... I specifically went to this bakery for the Paczkis and that's the only thing I bought. I bought a dozen in 6 different flavors. They were beautiful to look at but that's where it ended. Stumbled upon this great little place, almost by accident. Wonderful mix of products, almost all from Poland and the Ukraine. Great selection of amazing beers, mustards, krauts, cheeses and baked goods. Also a wonderful little deli area. So glad to have found it and look forward to my next visit.
