Large oxtail $25 for only 5oxtails not worth it

I ordered a large oxtail with rice. It came with 4 thin-cut oxtails with an abundance of rice and peas. Taste-wise, it was okay, it just lacked flavor. Regarding the cabbage, plantains were the best part of my meal; however, my rice and peas tasted burnt, and it was a taste that I could not overlook, so I did not eat them. Luckily, I ordered through Uber Eats and I was able to get a refund due to the food quality. I am willing to give them another chance, maybe it was just a bad day for them.

Also, they're a cash-only establishment.

Just walked in there with $500 to spend to buy food for my city and was not acknowledged so I'll spend my half a rack elsewhere 🤷

This place is so cool....you are always met with a warm smile and hot food the Jamacan patties are fantastic especially the jerk chicken. I love the panties so much I never order anything else but I'm certain everything is amazing!! And the prices are very fair!

I was in there for less than 10 minutes. I got a large ox tail and soup. Everything was wonderful.

Hello i order food today which is 5/07/2025.and my food was horrible I got 2 jerk chicken one with salad and the other one was rice with Uber eats.the chicken tasted like lighter fluid the rice was wet and soggy.i was very unhappy now I have no dinner it under my son name daylen perkins

The hospitality was their but the oxtail weren't. I don't know about the other food. The oxtail was straight up, not Flavorful.

Parking: Decent parking off street spaces and also on street parking

The restaurant was out of something I ordered but was kind enough to call and ask me to choose a replacement & threw in a piece of pineapple ? cake for the inconvenience. You know it's BOMB very flavorful, authentic Jamaican faire even after sitting out all day (we ordered kind of late). Big ❤️ thank you for sharing your culture with the world?✌️will definitely be ordering again!

The food was excellent, flavorful, and a bit spicy, which I love! I got a curried chicken, it came with rice, veggies, and a biscuit. For $15. They only accept cash.

The gentleman working the counter was very friendly. I got the beef and cheese empanada and it was warm and delicious with the perfect flakey crust and juicy, noticeably good quality ground beef. Will be coming here again to try more flavors!

I wish I could have taken a picture of my dish, but I was upset that they gave me a scrap of curry goat with a lot of bones. If there wasn't much left, they should have let me know it ran out. I decided to throw it away because all I had was white rice, cabbage, and two pieces of plantain. I ended up eating Mac and cheese for dinner. Excellent way to celebrate Emancipation Day, right?

1st time visiting, food was delicious! I ordered oxtails, cabbage, rice and peas. Generous portions. Wide variety of deserts. Highly recommend!
