I discovered Rosie’s way too late! It’s one of the most authentic Nepali restaurants I’ve found in Rochester. I always start my meal with a cup of their chiya, and it never disappoints. While it’s a bit milder than what many Nepalis might prefer, it’s perfect for my taste.

This week, we ordered the steamed momo and jhol momo, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors instantly reminded me of home in Nepal....

Hot and sour soup was as salty as sea-water.
Service was not good, needed to go find a waiter.

We had a delivery issue on Saturday night, but I’m still giving five stars because the food was fantastic and the woman working that night when I came to pick up the order was sweet and apologetic. The eggplant bharta was delicious (not too oily which is a plus!) as was the garlic naan. I’ll definitely be ordering again!
