Just order a medium pizza with old fashion pepperoni and green peppers well done.That is not what I got and paid for.Called up right away and explained to the girl and she told me to bring it back.I don't have time for that,then Dan a manager came on phone without seeing my pizza insisted it was right.All I wanted is to be credited for the extras I got charged for and didn't get.Horrible customer service for a small credit you lost a customer and Dan not sure your position but I would have handled this differently.I am in the food industry and I have done things differently.
Ordered lemon pepper wings couldn't eat them not sure what other seasoning they used but it was so horrible. I could only gag. It smelled like either the grease was very steal and old or the lemon pepper has been there since begining of time n the pizza was actually pretty good tho.

They always don't have one thing or another. This place sucks! They didn't have any garlic knots so this rude staff member asked me if I wanted a cookie or chips like NO OH or a cookie I DON'T LIKE ANY OF THAT. UGH last time they made me bring my order back after telling her you guys never put my sauce in my bag! She literally had me open up my bag to check and see if my sauce was in there. OVER A SAUCE y'all. Do not order from here. You'll thank me later! Never again.

I usually love this place and get great food here but the last 2 times have been extremely disappointing. Tonight me and my girlfriend placed an order to be ready at 830. We picked up right at 830 and subs were both cold. You can tell they had been sitting around for a while.

They dont seem to be able to use common sense. Would you put a side of blue cheese directly under a heat lamp so it gets boiling hot? Would you bake a sub that has lettuce tomatoes on it so the lettuce and tomatoes lose all of their crisp and texture? Only reason they're remotely busy is because they sell food people can afford and now it seems they just sell cheap food.

As a former resident of my beautiful hometown of Rochester, I carry many fond memories of the infamous boss sauce and the restaurants that serve it. Every visit back, without exception, includes a shaved steak sub with boss sauce—it’s a tradition.
During our New Year’s 2026 visit, my entire family decided to order from Salvatore’s. Our order included a sausage thin-crust pizza, eggplant parmesan with garlic bread, and two of the “legendary” steak subs. Unfortunately, this will be our last time ordering from Salvatore’s.
The sausage pizza was extremely dry, and the overall flavor was bland. The garlic bread tasted like plain buttered bread with no garlic flavor whatsoever. The eggplant parmesan was excessively sauced, seemingly to compensate for overcooked penne noodles. For a total of $99, the quality of this meal was unacceptable and deeply disappointing.
My nephew initially contacted the restaurant to express concerns about the food quality and was told to contact Uber. While I understand Uber’s role in processing refunds, ownership should take responsibility for the quality of food leaving their kitchen. When my nephew made no progress, I personally called and asked to speak with the manager.
The woman who answered failed to introduce herself. When I asked who I was speaking with, she stated her name was Maria, the owner. I promptly and respectfully explained the significant disappointment we experienced, particularly given the cost. Maria responded with arrogance and defensiveness, repeatedly interrupting me and failing to listen. She listened only to respond, not to understand, and demonstrated little to no accountability.
Maria stated that she personally put the pizza in the oven and was aware of how the food went out. Frankly, that response is more troubling—because it suggests the food was intentionally sent out in subpar condition and with confidence.
Maria, you did not listen during our phone conversation, so I hope you hear this now. You failed not only as a business owner but also in recognizing that you ruined an annual family tradition and a meaningful memory. This experience has permanently replaced any positive memories we once associated with your establishment.

It was quiet and not busy when I went in to order. We got our food to go. I got a large sub and they do not put toppings and condiments on half. You have to order them on the side at a dollar a side. The last time I ordered there they sent me home with the wrong sub. The hubbys sugar was way low so I gave him half. I called them and the only thing they would do for me was make me a new half after I drove back and returned the half. I threw it out. I will probably never go back

Do not order a chicken Ceasar salad. They don't know what it is. Received something that kind of resembled 1. Spring greens, red onion, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumber, chicken, barely any cheese. They took a regular salad basically and tried to make it work.

Waited almost an hour for 2 thin pizzas for 1 to show up half burnt. The resolutions offered was to wait again for another to be made and delivered or have driver come back to pick up for refund. Took the refund because was hungry and tired of waiting, ended up making a PB&J instead. Very disappointing. I do not feel like they truly zero-ed out a negative experience.
