I've never seen someplace shoehorn a paper plate into a to-go container to give you less food lol. And a 25 minute wait for a garbage plate when I got this at like 3 pm midweek seemed longer than normal. I also have never been served a cheeseburger plate with mozzarella cheese as the default cheese and I've eaten plenty of garbage plates in Rochester and the surrounding suburbs. It's always American cheese.

Very poor customer service. I order here frequently and have a loyalty account. Tonight ordered 4 subs, got them home and they were made incorrectly. I don’t get out of work until 9, so it’s unfortunately close to closing time - so I called right away because there was no way I could eat mine (there were onions on my sub and I have a severe sensitivity) - and I’ve been waiting all day to eat. The employee who answered the phone apparently consulted with the manager and they offered to either refund me $4 of the $10 the sub cost OR remake the sub AFTER I returned the incorrectly made sub. I had to go back to the store at almost 10 at night - in the snow - and wait for them to make the sandwich all over.
THEN THE REPLACEMENT SANDWICH WAS CHINTZY! There was a minimum amount of meat - and it appeared to be the shavings that build up around the deli slicer!
It was honestly offensive. And seems counterproductive - if you have loyal customers, don’t you want to treat them right? Especially in this economy. It’s a shame and I can’t recommend a business that practices as though they disdain their customers.

Salvatore’s on East Main St – Very Disappointing Experience

I am a regular customer at this Salvatore’s location, and my family also orders from here often. Unfortunately, today’s experience was extremely disappointing.

I was working today and forgot my lunch, so I placed a delivery order for food I was really looking forward to. I practice fasting and had not eaten since 5:00 pm the day before, so I was excited to finally eat something I enjoy.

When the food arrived, the service was terrible. The food was cold, there was no meat sauce on the side, and the chicken was not cooked properly. I immediately called the restaurant to explain what happened. The first employee lied and said I did not order meat sauce. The second employee claimed they put it in the bag, which was not true—there was absolutely no meat sauce.

I was told they could send the sauce in 30 minutes, but I needed it during my lunch break. That is the whole reason why you order the food the way you like it. The staff was rude, dismissive, and did not try to understand the situation. One employee even blamed the cold food on the snowstorm, which is not the customer’s fault. To make things worse, they hung up the phone on me while I was still speaking.

It felt like they did not care about losing a good customer. I spent $25.00 for a meal I could not properly enjoy. I was not offered a refund, replacement, or any solution.

If this location cannot properly handle deliveries during a snowstorm, they should not offer delivery at all. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

Paid 33 dollars for two steak subs with no steak and stale bread every time I go here I immediately remember why I don’t come here absolutely terrible, safe to say Salvatore’s glory days are well behind them.

We are a family that does not eat pork for religious reasons and the person who took our order forgot that we requested BEEF pepperoni and not PORK Pepperoni. When we received our order we requested a new order with BEEF pepperoni. Instead of the manager taking accountability for their mistake, he blamed us for not being clear on our order and told us not to do it again. Mind you we are long time customers and have a long history of ordering non pork products (especially beef pepperoni pizza). We asked for beef pepperoni and asked the person to repeat the order back to us as we always do. I’m seriously considering never ordering here again because this is the second time and now I’ll have to spend my night asking my god for forgiveness for eating pork smh.

Usually have great food and great service , seems like both the food and the service have been going down hill lately, with wait times and deliverys taking a lot longer than any other places that I order from in the same area, it's hard to give this store my business, I'd really like to see this store bounce back and be a great location to order from again.

Went to the highest rating Salvatore’s near us while visiting Rochester, all the workers were absolutely amazing and even loved getting to see my daughter, when she spilled milk they were very nice and assured us it was alright and we immediately started cleaning it up. I can’t express how amazingly nice the staff was especially after a bills game! And not to mention the food was absolutely delicious.

Absolutely disgusting! Their website says delivery takes 25 mins to 1 hour. It was past an hour for delivery....I called ....as i needed the pizza for a scheduled time....the manager Brittany hang up me. Very rude. Would never recommend

$30 for a dozen donuts.. only received 6 in the actual order. On top of that had to wait 2 hours for an around the corner delivery. No real apologies.. This after a 2 year hyattis because of sub par service. Same thing years later. Called corporate and email.. no response. How do they stay in business???

I ordered a steak sub.Ask the girl, how long it would take?She said ten minutes twenty four minutes later.She asked to cook, is that steak sub done.He said i'm taking it out now as I can visually watch him.Texting on his phone for about three more minutes.He then took it out, cut it, wrapped it, and she brought it to me.I left got it, my truck as I was now late to go to my call and was going to eat on the way.I unwrapped it and I wanted to bite it.It was so burned, wasn't even edible
