Spectacular service and a top 3-4 garbage plate in Rochester. Whoever the on duty manager was Saturday night managed the large bursts of crowds coming in while cooking the food flawlessly. Dont change anything

Review of Schaller's Restaurant (Brighton NY location):So, what happended to Schaller's??? My recent visit to Schaller's Restaurant in Brighton left much to be desired. The counter service was responsive and pleasant, and the overall cleanliness of the establishment was noteworthy. However, the experience was marred by several issues. The cheeseburger on a hard roll was a disappointment. It oozed excessive grease, mainly from the hot sauce, and the thin patty failed to meet expectations. The accompanying fried onion rings were overfried and too crisp. The overall quality of the food did not live up to the standards set by the original location on Edgemere Drive near Lake Ontario.Beyond the culinary aspects, the restaurant's ambiance fell short. The music playing was annoying, and the overall physical environment lacked aesthetic appeal for individuals, couples, or families. Additionally, prices have become exorbitant, making it difficult to justify a return visit.Comparatively, cooking a hamburger and fries at home proves to be both cheaper and more flavorful. Sadly, Schaller's Restaurant in Brighton does not measure up to its history and quality of its original location, and I won't be revisiting.

I used to LOVE Schallers! Me and my family have been going for YEARS! but lately the food has been terrible and today the service was terrible (which is why I’m doing this review). Before I even read the other reviews i said to myself “This place has gone down” and then I come to Google Reviews and see I’m clearly not the only one with a bad experience lately. I placed an online order today. Go to pick up the food, pick up time was 5:00pm, I waited in my car an extra 15-20 minutes just to go in and find out my food had never been made!. The boy who was servicing me never came back to me to say “Sorry we mistakenly didn’t make your order” or nothing he just started shouting my order to the cooks in the back. so (now pissed) I said Loudly “IS MY FOOD NOT READY?”? And he just shook his head “No” oh so nonchalantly and said “ it’ll be ready in 10 minutes”. Mind you it is now 5:30 something no communication… no empathy and most importantly No accountability! Whoever owns Schallers needs to get that place in shape or SHUT DOWN not hire a bunch of lazy young ppl with no work ethic and customer service skills!

There was a hair in my burger plate and both chocolate milka served to my kids were spoilt. This place has really gone downhill.

Very good cheese burger with onions and meat sauce. Chicken tenders are fine and the fries are ok. The vibe is immaculate and it’s clean and inviting. Worth a stop!

I hate to write a bad review about Schaller's since I've been a patron for 20+ years, but the food was so bad a couple of days ago that I had to say something.Semi-raw fries swimming in a full inch of liquid at the bottom of our garbage plates.MANAGEMENT: Please oversee the food you are putting out. We have many options where we get our plates. I'm not one to ask for my money back, so $33 (with two cokes) is down the drain, but you may have lost a customer for life.Sad and disappointed with the demise of a legend.

I’ve been going to Schaller’s in Brighton for almost 10 years with my husband & my 2 kids. The same workers would greet us with a smile, great conversation & awesome food! Over the last 2 years it’s gotten so bad, those people no longer work there? Service has been terrible & the place is disgustingly dirty! But tonight was the last straw for me & my family. We walked in & the place was filled with smoke?. We thought that it would get better as we waited for our food. It didn’t get better but boy did we wait & wait & wait!! Our food finally came, it was mediocre. We had asked for basically everything off the fryer to be well done, nothing was really well except the hamburger(which we didn’t ask for)??‍♀️ after we finished our food my husband & son went to the bathroom. They came out in complete disgust & said it looked as though it hasn’t been cleaned in months! There was urine all over the toilet/urinal surfaces & the floors were so gross their feet were sticking to them as they were walking around. My daughter brought some of her own money to use in the gumball machines, she put her quarters in, got her gumballs bit into one & thought it was going to break her tooth. She couldn’t even bite the big gum all in half she had to spit it out. We will NOT be going back to this location for a while. We’re going to have to make the drive down to the original Schallers at the Lake. I usually don’t leave reviews but I thought the owners should know how much is has gone down hill & how gross it was, and not just tonight!!!!!

Took a bit to get my order in, but that was okay and it was just like I remember as a kid when I went to the east ridge one.??

Yeah, so we have some burger places in Rochester. Like Bill Gray's,Tom Wahls, these are thin burgers that you can get on a hard roll or bun. Hot sauce is good,as are the other two places I mentioned. They are all different. They don't serve tomatoes tho, I like them with lettuce, but burger still good.If afraid of going into the city or just out in the burbs, good burgers
