The ppl are very nice. Dining can be slow, but a great experience.

Place was not very clean and Bathroom looks like they haven't been cleaned in a long time. We ask for take out containers they were dirty. The bill had a 18% service change then had a spot for a tip I didn't understand that. The people were nice and friendly. The food was ok.

I came here with my family, whole bunch of kids and they were very accommodating and loved entertaining them. Our waitress Ashley was amazing, checked on us often and brought stuff out right on time.
The only hang up is the owner. The 18% gratuity fee, which is included in the total, goes to the owner where he can spend where he sees fit. So we left Ashley a cash tip. The owner took our receipt and cash tip to give to the waitress, we wanted to make sure she got it so we quickly asked her on the way out... the owner only gave her half of her cash tip. Some of the other waitresses overheard and were upset and acted like this isn't the first time this has happened. When we asked the owner about it he denied it and said we didn't leave that much of a tip but he would go check. He never came back out.
Besides the owner scamming the waitresses and bartenders from their tips - it's a great place. Food was excellent.

Jerry the manager is very rude. The other staff was very kind. Chairs are very old and run down. No complaints on the food.

We went to Sogo last night for my sons birthday. I called earlier in the day and we got lucky to get a 6:30 reservation, admittedly I was a little nervous due to the mixed reviews. We were seated very quickly. Our waitress was absolutely amazing all night, I really wish I knew her name because she was so attentive and kind and truly an amazing waitress. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. The prices were very fair and it was well worth the cost. Overall it really was a great dinner on all levels, one of our children even asked how long it is until his birthday because thats were he wants to go. Not to discredit other people's experiences but personally last night we had a great experience and we cant wait to come back!

Very slow waitress service! We are waiting more the 20 minutes for appetizer and beer! Restaurant was empty. And when waitress brings a check it was edit 18% service fee. For not service at all! After all hibachi cook was very good, entertaining, knowledgeable and friendly! Total opposite from waitress! Very disappointing. Owner needs to supervise there waitresses better and after add it 18 % service charge!

We were finally seating aprox 40 mins after our reservation time when the host told us a 5-10 minute wait. We chose Hibatchi and the food was cooked very slow where the rice and noodles was already cold by the time everything was done. The cook we got was very quiet and only threw food to one person to catch. He did the onion tower and the banging of the spatula in the begining and that was it, not much of a show. The rice and noodles were undercooked and when I ate my left overs the next day there was a egg shell in it. On top of it there was a 18% service fee added on top of the bill that was not considered the tip.

I sat in the dining room on a Sunday around 6:30pm. There seemed to be only 2 servers on for the whole restaurant. We sat for about 10 minutes with no service until we went to the host and asked if we could be served. Someone came over who wasn’t a server to take our order. After that everything came out fast, but we never got checked on. Once it was time for the bill there was an automatic 18% gratuity, which I didn’t think was fair considering we didn’t get service. Overall I probably wouldn’t go back unless we sat at the hibachi table.

If I could give it zero starts I would!!!! These people sent me raw steak !!! Not cooked even a little in the middle. Now I love medium finish this is raw not even rare!!!

Two $17 meals came out to a $50 NON-ITEMIZED receipt. When asked, a full receipt was printed showing an 18% “service charge” we never saw listed anywhere, and was never shown on the first receipt. They expected a tip on the total that already had a charge. Totally scammy. Do not tip, people can quit until the owner gets a clue.
