Swans market has great German food for lunch. You sit at long tables like the Hofbrauhaus where you can visit with others. They have fresh German cold cuts, sausages, salads, saurkraut, red cabbage and many other items to buy in the meat case. We love going there.

Fantastic! Do not sleep on this gem. Don’t tell my Oma but this is the best German food I have ever had! The Jaeger Schnitzel, potato salad, and red cabbage is perfection! The sausages are amazing. I’m not sure I will ever eat lunch anywhere else when I’m in town. Service was top notch too!

Great little German deli, and the eatery is open for lunch service Wed- Sat. We enjoyed the rouladen, red cabbage, spaetzle and sausage platter. Expect communal seating. Adds to the ambience, in my opinion. Service was prompt and friendly. Large selection of meat products especially sausage. My German mother put her nod of approval on the liverwurst!
We arrived right when they opened, and it was already starting to get busy! If you want a seat, I’d definitely recommend going early. The service was quick and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered—especially the beer! Extra credit to the group who broke out into a German song and then chugged their beers—it really added to the fun atmosphere.
