Walk-in, counter service Jamaican restaurant. I ordered a medium Curry Chicken with rice / peas / cabbage as well as a beef patty.
Everything was delicious and tasted homemade. The rice / peas was a standout and paired perfectly with the curry chicken and cabbage. Beef patty had mild spice and very flaky dough.
Island Buzz will definitely be in the lunch rotation moving forward!

Restaurant is always nice and clean. Workers are very friendly. And the food, OMG! Banging! They have the best rice and peas ive had for sure! Im mad i dug into my food then decided to take a pic lol but this is a medium $13 plate and it was packed! I got full off half. Brown Stew chicken, rice pease, cabbage 😋
Definitely the BEST in Rochester. Old school home made food. So good. Had to review while eating...more tastier than other Caribbean/jamacain restaurants. Everything AWESOME 💯 RESPECT. SEE YOU AGAIN SOON.

The jerk chicken is one of the best flavored chicken ever had, and the beef patty is comforting. The meat and gravy had customers licking their fingers. Food is amazing and outstanding. The owner is very kind. The place is a 10/10 with fast service and professional music. Overall, Island Buzz is a great place to enjoy Jamaican soul food.
