Tacos N Tequila Mexican Grill

I’ve been coming to this bar since it was open. Saturday night we decided to go have some drinks like we normally do (place was a ghost town) so I had 8 people come and we were up charged 20% for drinks and they were served in very small glasses where I paid $109 for 6 drinks .i will never go back and neither will anyone that comes with me come back. The place has really went downhill. Shame on you for charging more with less and having bartenders that don’t know what they are doing. I had to show her where the Patron was. Drink wasn’t even full but I was charged plenty for it. Horrible place to go now.

This place can be a fine place to hangout and have a drink. However the female security guard has tried to cause an issue every time I’ve been there. She is unpleasant, aggressive and has been the reason I left early both times I’ve been there. Security guard at the door isn’t a terrible idea. They just have a terrible security guard

Visited Tacos and Tequila in Gates recently. The ambience and atmosphere were genuinely enjoyable great décor and a lively vibe. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to expectations. Several dishes were extremely salty, which really took away from the overall flavor. The service was also quite slow, which made the experience less enjoyable. Hoping they can improve on consistency because the place itself has a lot of potential.

I love this place. The food is really good. The service is perfect and I've enjoyed it every time I've been there.

Y'all definitely need to work on your customer service and professionalism. Bartenders be too busy flirting with the DJ drinking behind the counter and walking around, doing everything to avoid serving customers. Not all, but I'm sure y'all know which one's working which ones are not. Do better and the food eh it's alright.

Very sad. Food was fine, everything else was sub par, the bill was something I like to call fraudulent. They purposely put the tax item at the end of the bill. They put subtotal, then a credit card fee even though paid cash, then a 15% service fee. All those items you get charged 8% sales tax on. Total scam, will never return or recommend.

The last few times I have gone there they charge you a 4% credit card processing fee, but do not take it off even when I paid in cash they acted all confused and I still got charged it. The waiters are probably scamming the extra money for themselves

Went in to this place for dinner and drinks @8pm, sat ourselves at a table as instructed to do by security at the door. We waited 20 minutes and no one came over. We went up to the bar and they continued to walk past us as if we weren’t there. We sat at the bar and finally were asked if we wanted drinks. I have to inquire myself about food. I ended up ordering takeout and we got two margarita flights. Would’ve gotten more but it took them 30 minutes AFTER THE FLIGHTS WERE FINISHED. The two girls walked past us at least 10x and didn’t ask us if we wanted refills, if we were okay or anything. I had to lean over the counter to finally ask for my check. Overall a frustrating long experience. Date night ruined. It almost felt like racism seeing that the staff was Latino and the people they were ignoring were all African American.
