Food was burnt server was rude and weird . Before I was leaving I asked where the bathroom was she asked me to leave my food and purse with her , um no I’m not leaving anything with you especially my purse . Never going back here

Food is good but often meal does not come with individual rice but rather a shared bowl. When ask for more rice they don’t really want to accommodate. Also they charge 3.99 for condiments. Shameful!

I eat a lot of Indian food & this place is OK, but nothing to write home about. It's totally adequate & full filling

First time eating Indian food and first time on a date an awhile so I just want to thank you guys for an amazing evening the beautiful lady I believe it was the mom is the most welcome, wonderful, helpful and nice woman, I was glad to meet you guys thanks for a wonderful evening

Worst experience Taste at the restaurant , if you want to eat Indian food should not go.
I took non-veg buffet , there was dish chicken Kheema kebab in gravy. It taste like eating raw ginger garlic and tumreric , veg items where also worst
When I said a counter after paying the bill, the lady had bad attitude and was least concern

Update, 2024 - Ordered once again earlier in the year, and once again found it lacking, both flavor wise and heat wise. Have heard similar things from friends, too, so I can't say I'll go out of my way to go back. Original review from 11/2018 - I went here a few months ago and although yes, everything is labeled, which is too rare of a sight in rochester, the food was just...okay. I realize my spice tolerance is higher than some, but I found the food that I did have to be fairly bland. I'll have to go back again to see if it's consistent, or if it was just bad luck, but I just wasn't impressed. Updated from previous review on 2018-11-09

Excellent food, excellent service, what else does one need. We went in at 9 pm n still they served us as they close at 9 pm.

The food was great! Our kids are super picky and had never tried Indian food before. They were able to sample several new flavors and even liked a few!

The Tuesday Dinner Buffet is always Amazing 10/10. Best Indian Food in Rochester, NY!

Tandoor of India Henrietta, NY (Rochester)
As soon as we entered the Restaurant we were greeted by the wonderful aroma of typical Indian Cuisine. The entire place is clean, hygienic and brightly illuminated. Large Secure parking space available free of cost. The service personnel are very polite, attentive and efficient. The lunch buffet offered a wide range of items. Food trays were constantly monitored and replenished with freshly made preparations, which were indeed delicious and flavorful. My family enjoyed the extraordinary experience of dining and look forward to visiting again. We would strongly recommend anyone to visit Tandoor of India Henrietta, NY. Thank you
