Taste of Supreme Bakery & Cafe

This is the second time I have tried visiting and they were not there. The previous time - they were at an event. This time, we called earlier in the day and were hung up on. They closed just before five but were supposed to be open until 7. My gluten free friend was visiting from out of town but unfortunately wasn’t able to try anything here.

I recommend calling to verify their hours before visiting.

Love love the fruit bars. They are so delicious , clean and guilt free. The customer service is phenomenal.

If you are not gluten free or vegan you have nothing to worry about. Everyhting on the menu works to Bring out the fantastic flavor of the ingredients. My fiancee and I found Taste of supreme at the Public Market buying banana bread and their other fantastic baked goods.
In addition to their baked goods the store front has delicious savory dinner options. The rental soup is a must try!
In the summer the afternoons can feel hot with how the sun hits the building. On those days a to go order may be the option for you if you are sensitive to heat.

Assad is so full of joy and light and you can *taste* it in his food! As a gluten free vegetarian, I never have any doubts or worries going to ToS. The food, the vibe, and the proprietor are all immaculate. The pecan chip cookie is a religious experience.

DELICIOUS! I am obsessed with the cookies! Don’t let the words “healthy”, “gluten free”, or “vegan” scare you away. The cookies are amazing. The pecan pie is a favorite of mine. I’m gluten free and I feel spoiled getting to choose from so many options that are all so so so good. My boyfriend is not gluten free and is a connoisseur of chocolate chip cookies. Taste of Supreme are his new favorite for chocolate chip cookies (two at a time… they don’t make it home as they are both eaten during the car ride). And try the bean pie- just try it! It’s so unique and hard to describe- but it’s delicious!

The best bakery for healthy, gluten free, organic, and more food and baked goods! I would order and have products shipped. I love this bakery and can’t find any other place like it! The owner is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the ingredients he uses! The bakery is also very clean a must because I’m very picky eating outside my own kitchen🙌🏽 check out their specials and new online services!

I keep going back for the Vegan Lentil Soup, it is the very best Lentil soup that I have ever tasted 😋 You will NOT be disappointed.

I know you will see my rating. I am a native of NYC Muslim community. I have taste bean pies,you can improve.

We had a lovely visit today at this bakery, and left with a chocolate chip macadamia cookie and a pecan pie. Both were delicious! The cookie was moist and chewy and the pecan tart was excellent. The owner clearly loves what he does! Definitely don’t hesitate to check this place. Don’t be put off by the beans: they’re terrific in baked goods and you can’t taste them at all, and they add fibre and protein. I would say that even people who don’t typically like healthy baked goods would like these. They’re still plenty sweet and they have great textures. Wish I would have picked up a loaf of banana bread!

Delicious, nutritious, and always makes me feel great! Couldn't have done my Ironman triathlon without this man! The mocha doubles are to die for especially heated up a little, and the healthy bars are uniquely delicious and make my whole body feel great, especially after a long bike or run

This place is so great! Took my elderly mom here for her birthday and she loved the carrot cake. Super friendly and helpful owner-enjoyed chatting with him. The vegan cookies and pies were about the best my partner and I had ever had. Can’t wait to come back and try some of the lunch options-lentils smell amazing. What a terrific spot-highly recommend.

This is a gem of a bakery full of pies, cakes, cookies and other baked goods. I have celiac so finding a delicious, local bakery that’s dedicated gluten free *and* offers dairy free and vegan options is a dream. I had the gluten free cheesecake and my partner had a mocha double chocolate cookie, and with one bite knew we’d be back.

The owner was very welcoming and was happy to make custom baked goods for our specific dietary needs, but we had no trouble finding something from the case. We’ll be back another time to try the café items, which are all vegan and gluten free.
