Honestly disappointing. This is not my first visit to tavos. However I find them unaccommodating. Ordered the guacamole and the pico - delicious, loved the spin on the guacamole the addition of the chile oil and pumpkin seeds was a nice touch. Here’s where it goes side ways … I am a vegetarian and try to eat fairly healthy, I don’t want fried corn tortillas or a burrito stuffed with carbs. First time there - the food is AMAZING! Some of the best food I’ve ever had. So reminiscent of El Ricon, but yet different. Huge and intriguing menu. The quesadillas are so delicious as are the sopes, & chile rellenos..the flan is creamy & caramel and the chocolate dulce de leche is sinful.
If you haven’t been - GO… does not disappoint! I’ll be back for sure.
