The Silver Iguana offers a transcendent experience with incredible food and a fantastic atmosphere. Despite slightly slow service, the friendly staff makes up for it. The outdoor seating is lovely, perfect for enjoying margaritas. The restaurant is known for its depth of flavor, and many customers believe it serves some of the best Mexican food in the Rochester region.
Though a bit pricy, the quick chips and salsa service, featuring a smoky seasoning and flavorful salsa, make up for it. The tacos, particularly the fish tacos, are highly praised for their crispy fried sea bass, crunchy slaw, creamy chipotle sauce, and sweet mango chunks in a flour tortilla.
