This was my first visit to the new location of Tony D's and I really enjoyed it. I was part of a large group there for a celebration. Upon entry, we enjoyed the decor and brightness inside the restaurant, as well as our table location, which allowed us to see the cute patio. We were a party of 9, and most people ordered specials. Overall food was very good. Red sauce and meatball, my two 'check points' for any Italian restaurant were average - meatball was overworked with too much breadcrumb, so it was hard and dry; red sauce was not cooked properly so it was very acidic; but other dishes like the burrata salad, pizza, sandwiches and specials were very good and my colleagues reported really enjoying their meals. Our server was excellent - friendly, informative, attentive. We were also very happy the restaurant was able to make some small adjustments to accommodate two of our diners with dietary restrictions. Overall, I great first experience.

Five stars all the way around. Took my mother out to eat Friday for dinner. My waitress Gabriella was very sweet and kind (I think I got her name right). The food is just absolutely awesome. Probably one of the best chicken Parmesan I’ve ever had. No joke!
One of the worst restaurant meals I have ever had. The main dining room, there is only one, is incredibly noisy, but front and center is the food. It is terrible. I had the baked claims, a lump of something on top of a clam, over cooked and, as such, inedible. I then had the chicken parm, smothered in a sauce that had a metallic taste wiping out any flavor from the chicken or the breading, it , too, was inedible. Avoid this place, large portions do not make up for bad food. And over priced at that, there are better restaurants in Rochester for less.

Terrible. Starting with the noise level being unbearably high, and tables more suited for a cafeteria, the food was some of the worst we have ever had in a restaurant. The calamari entre was an indistinguishable pile, the baked clams were a nondescript lump of something over-cooked on top of a tasteless clam and, lastly, the chicken parm was buried in a metallic-tasting red sauce that overwhelmed the taste of the chicken and breading and proved to be in-edible. Finally, the prices were among the highest we've encountered in the city. We won't be going back.
