It's worthwhile for the 30-min drive! The food was quite good, and we appreciated the neighborhood feel of the place.

They had live music on the Wednesday we were there. It was a little loud for the size of the venue, made talking a bit difficult. Definitely going back.

We usually make a reservation just for convenience. Food and service is always excellent. The atmosphere can change depending on how crowded it is (it can be noisy). Come early or late on the weekends to avoid that. New specials weekly starting Thursday night - usually a homemade pasta, seafood and steak / meat dish. Never had a bad meal and Chris makes the rounds to make sure everything is well.

We just went here for dinner with my in-laws. I had to delete my review from 2 years ago as it was under different ownership it was not a good review due to service then. This place is fantastic though. The food was great. The service perfect the owner is personable and went to tables and talked to them. My father in law who is a critic of restaurants said he would go back and he lives in Lima. We will 100% be back.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Rochester! The food and mixed drinks have always been exceptional, and the quality is consistently great. We love it so much that we often buy gift cards for family and friends—it’s always a hit.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars for service and atmosphere is because there are times it feels a bit understaffed, which can slow things down. Also, while the live music is a great touch and adds to the vibe, it can occasionally make conversation a bit challenging.

Still, it's a spot we always look forward to visiting and recommending!

I never give five stars across the board but this one is an absolute winner. The food is great, authentic and fresh. The service by the staff was on point. Prompt and quick in an unobtrusive way. And as far as the atmosphere and dining go, it's well situated and has a cozy old world feel. An excellent experience all around. Would highly recommend!

Hands down the best pizza in the Rochester NY area. The fried calamari appetizer was also awesome.

Cristo's never disappoints—we've never had a bad meal here. Maddie is one of our favorite servers; she consistently goes above and beyond, always checking in to make sure we have everything we need to enjoy our meal. We especially love sitting at the pizza counter and watching the team craft the pies—it's part of the experience. One small suggestion: consider relocating the specials board. Its current placement at the front bar makes it difficult to read without awkwardly peering down the length of the counter. A more visible spot could make it easier for guests to catch what's being featured before being seated.

Do yourself a favor and make a reservation to eat here! There literally isn't a bad bite of food in this joint. The Utica Greens are my personal favorite; ask for them over pasta and you'll never have a better meal. Don't forget the chocolate cake for dessert. It's made in-house and it's amazing!
