Food was disappointing. Arepa and chicken was dry. Sauce saved it but even the sauce could have been better flavor wise. Margaritas saved this order but Order overall wasn’t worth $27.
The place is located in front of the beach, I ate an arepa de pabellón which was very well prepared, it had very Venezuelan flavors, I loved the shredded meat with that sweet Mantuan touch, it reminded me of when I used to cook in the Mantuan restaurants of Galipan, definitely a good stop at rockaway beach
Fun vibes on the boardwalk. The food is one of the better choices though a tad pricey. They have various options of Venezuelan arepas - shredded chicken, black beans, beef, fish and a rotating versions. They also offer various beers and frozen wine along with sides that include rice and black beans, plantains tequenos. If you’re on the beach stop by and enjoy the music the vibes the people watching.
