“This is an unassuming little restaurant with excellent food. Their orange chicken is unusually good, with a nice balance of sweet and spicy, and a texture that is crispy rather than doughy. Another favorite of mine is Singapore chow mei fun- a moderately spicy noodle dish with satisfying full flavor, not just heat.“

“This restaraunt has GREAT food, fair prices, excellent service, friendly staff, it has a great atmosphere, they are very accommodating, and there is always parking. If there is a wait it is just a couple of minutes, they try to get you started as quicky as possible. I have been going there with my family for many years, I can't remember the last time I went to another Japanese restaraunt. I recommend this place to all my friends and when they go they love it and become patrons too.“

“The sushi here is REALLY good-- I wolfed down a Sexy Roll that consisted of shrimp tempura, salmon, scallops and spicy mayo-- OMGoodness! I'm going back for more♡(Love the seating [booths] in the front of the restaurant.)

Parking: If you know anything about Rockville Centre-- it is no more than a HUGE parking lot with a plethora of establishments that are merely planted around/within it. We got luck and were able to secure a space on Park Avenue a few hundred feet from the restaurant. Be prepared to drive around the area a few times before finding a suitable spot.“

“Dined here about a couple months ago and enjoyed the delicious food and good service. There's an entrance to the restaurant from the front exterior of the mall (near the parking lot) and another entrance just a few steps inside of the Broadway Mall. Restaurant was very clean, bright, and spacious; has a very good dining atmosphere and décor. Restaurant was quiet when dined here for lunch. Waiter was attentive and courteous. We had the kinya ramen combos with takoyaki and shrimp tempura. The ramen broth was rich and a little creamy, noodles were great, pork was delicious, but the ramen egg had a very strong chemical taste, like it was possibly over-marinated. I love the complimentary prawn chips; it's a wonderful childhood nostalgia snack. Overall, the food was satisfying, delicious, and very filling.“

I come here a lot and usually order the special sushi rolls or the grilled chicken don but I tried the new spicy beef ramen this time and it was really good. The workers are always so friendly and the food came out really quick. I recommend Moshi Moshi if you are looking for a new sushi/ramen place to try in Long Beach!“

“A tasty, cute, local spot that offers omakase as well as your traditional sushi/Japanese menu options with options for drinks too. Our favorite dishes to get are their Chilean Sea Bass with mushroom , truffle risotto and veggies, Masaaki Roll, and Eel Kamameshi Rice. Their sashimi dishes are also quite tasty and the omakase is affordable at just under $100.

The only drawback is that the omakase is in the back where they have bigger tables and separate rooms for a more private setting, which in my opinion takes away from the intimacy that is meant to be the purpose of omakase. But I would still recommend this place to eat at for any occasion, from a date night or dinner with family.“

“There is a menu up at the very front of the store which I liked because I enjoy reading through the menu without being rushed to order. Then you walk up and tell the cashier what you want and you get your food within 10 minutes which is steaming hot. The portion sizes are larger than other spots I’ve tried and the food is delicious especially with the sauce they add on top. The fried rice was a bit underwhelming but the browning on the chicken more than makes up for it. Great spot if you’re looking for a quick lunch that will fill you up and warm you up.“

“It was a wonderful experience , considering it is my first time. We had to wait a few minutes to get our table for 4 but that’s okay! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to pull and extra table for us. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The lighting, decor, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was great! And amazing food. My family loved what we ordered and the matcha cheesecake for dessert was so good! Compliments to the chef! “I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!“

“Came here for lunch and it was great. Wonderful portion size and a good selection of bento box. Not served in a traditional bento box but a 4-sectioned plate. Soup and salad served separately. Price is reasonable. Attentative staffs. Will return in the future.

“Kaiyo has become our new sushi spot. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Also the hot food is spot on, the tempura and teriyaki is fantastic. The atmosphere is perfect for a peaceful and quiet meal. The staff is always so friendly and polite. My family and I highly recommend Kaiyo for delicious sushi and Japanese cuisine.“

“It’s a small ramen restaurant decorated with One Piece memorabilia. The service was good. We were seated right away and the waitress kept an eye on us the whole time making sure our water glass was full. The ramen was solid good and my husband had the tonkatsu (fried pork). The Chaysu Ramen had four pieces of fatty pork. The soup was a bit salty but went well with the noodles. The cabbage added some extra texture and needed fiber to the meal.“

“Honestly I haven't had sushi this fresh and high quality in a long time. Even the mango was perfectly ripe
(which is hit or miss at most restaurants). The salad greens were fresh and not wilted . I was impressed and will definitely go back.“

Decor cosmopolitan, they spent a lot of money on the chairs but now the faux leather vinyl is sagging, peeling and it’s hard to find a comfortable seat. -sushi sandwich - it was good, but it needed something crispy to hold & feel it…felt very mushy eating it…so it wasn’t a pleasant experience
