Good brewery. I enjoyed the MacDoogals beer.

First time at the restaurant, thought we would try something new. Could be a fun place but they do everything to keep costs low. Minimal service and some of the staff seemed annoyed with the little they did. You have to order at the bar or through an application... Seems very intrusive to get food. They have a self service station... Yes,You need to get your own water, silverware and to go boxes... staff did bring water over got annoyed at a refill request. All the cost of a regular restaurant with none of the service. If you drink at the bar probably a good time. Hopefully this isn't the future of restaurants to come.

Food was delicious. Served quickly and no complaints on freshness, quality and delivery!

Had the Pilsnar, very good.
Smash burger was very good as well. Should've only had the 4 oz.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Great South Bay Brewery, Scott Palmer, and the staff! I recently hosted a surprise retirement party for my husband, and as someone who is definitely not a surprise party person, I was incredibly nervous. From the moment I started planning, Scott made the entire process easy and stress-free. He answered every question, reassured me, and made me feel completely comfortable.

The atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping for—cool, relaxed, and welcoming. It honestly felt like we were hanging out at someone's house with friends rather than at a venue. The chill vibes made everyone feel at home, and my husband was completely surprised!

On top of that, the food was excellent, and our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it. The combination of amazing service, delicious food, and a laid-back atmosphere made for the perfect celebration.

If you're looking for a place to host a special event, I highly recommend Great South Bay Brewery. They helped create a day our family will never forget, and I am so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Five stars all the way!

Great South Bay in Ronkonkoma is a great spot with a lot to offer. The space is huge, making it perfect for groups or a casual night out. The beer selection is excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of cocktail options available as well.

The food menu has plenty of choices, and everything we tried was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, which always makes for a better experience.

My only minor criticism is the ordering system. Everything is done through a QR code and app, which works fine, but it can be a little time-consuming and takes away some of the personal interaction that comes with ordering directly from a server. It's not a dealbreaker by any means—I just prefer the traditional face-to-face experience.

Overall, Great South Bay delivers great drinks, good food, a fun atmosphere, and friendly service. Definitely worth checking out.

When it 1st opened, great food, friendly staff, knowledgeable. The last 4 visits over the last 6 months and I have to say, I won't be going back. Food is pricey, not very good anymore.my daughters kid meal had more food then the adult order. I sat myself and used the QR code to order. My drinks came with the food, the place was empty and not a single person acknowledged us, I had to ask for my drinks after 20 minutes because they were forgotten. the bus/runner kid was great. Then I close my check and it suggests a 25% tip. For what. No water, no seating, no orders taken, nobody checked on us after the food. So who would I tip and why. Of course I left something for the kid who bought our food out. But seriously 25% suggested tip. Like I said not the 1st time our family had this experience.
