Got catering for a birthday party from this place. This place was incredible and had some of the best pizza I’ve had on Long Island. Highly recommend!

Ordered two gyro with extra sauce in side and an order of fries. Well there was hardly any lamb, no sauce on sandwich, fries were barely cooked. Very disappointed and did go there before. But now I won’t go there again, plus 2 gyros, two extra sauce and fries 36,00. When fried are 8, sandwiched 10:25., so extra sauce 7 extra. No bueno

I’m sure this restaurant has a great regular menu, but if you are looking for vegan food, look somewhere else.
Their vegan vodka sauce tasted like wet bruschetta with a ton of dried oregano. Nothing close to a vodka sauce.
And their vegan calzone was not good. items were expensive and absolutely not worth the price.

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and very clear about which items were vegan.

Ordered a bunch of food from here. Calamari was rock hard you could have broke your tooth on it. Chicken parm was burnt. Garlic knots were so dried out. We will not be back.

D’Matteo’s Pizza and grill is a great choice for vegan options. They have so much to choose from It’s hard to pick. However, the best thing in the menu is not their pizza, in my opinion. Their Italian food is good but The pupusas are so good. Also, I don’t know if there are other places with vegan pupusas that I know of! So It’s a nice variation.

Within the past year, we have ordered a lot from this place. We even catered my son’s birthday from them last year.
The past bunch of times has unfortunately been a fail. We are plant based and have allergies. Instead of garlic knots one trip- we got something with tons of cheese inside. Not good
spoke with the manager and they offered us a free pie
We gave them once more chance and the pizza was soo oily- so was the baked ziti. And ziti, knots, and a can of soda still cost us $30
The pizza was also cold when it got here
Also to add I had a very strange delivery. He knocked, I went to answer it and before I got to the door, he opened my storm door
Not crazy about that
Unfortunately I don’t think we will be ordering from here anymore.

Must have been a non busy evening. Pizza had to be 1/2 day old. I left it sitting on the trash bin.

This place is wonderful I am so happy I found it. They proudly have vegan flags out to help you spot it. They have most everything you can think of from heros to pizza to pastas. I have had the eggplant parm hero and the vegan penne vodka. I spoke to the owner last time, he said the previous owner had some items but they wanted to take it futher. And they did, there is a whole specialized vegan menu
When we order for parties, everyone compliments the pizza but when we order a pie for dinner it’s not great. I’m not sure why. One of the employees was careless in telling me a menu item did not contain my sons allergens. Thankfully, I asked to speak with someone else and discovered it DID contain the allergen. It should be priority to make sure you know to check ingredients before answering a question on whether a food item contains allergens. This could have killed my 3 year old so it really upset me. I don’t let him eat here any longer.
