Great surprise stumbling across SOY. The chef owner was amazing, serving and cooking the meal for us. Food was so tasty and atmosphere was so unique and inviting. We had a great time
This is such a quaint spot. Very welcoming. It feels like your going to have a home cooked meal. Vegan options labeled and Staff is knowledgeable on dietary restrictions. Menu seems to change on a whim because of the homestyle nature of the place,but there's always options. For vegans and non-vegans alike. It's a one-person show it seems as there's a walkie talkie at the door so you can announce your arrival to the chef but it's evident she really puts a lot...
I think this restaurant is run entirely by one (1) person. She would like it if you call before arriving.
Fresh, well prepared food. Vegan options are limited but good and well marked.
I've been told by a Japanese guy that the food is, in fact, very authentically Japanese home cooking.
