“The service at Il Mulino is exceptional! They literally fell over each other to serve us. Food was delicious and there’s an intimate feel to the place. They have two menus. They have a prix fixed menu that offers a more affordable dining experience. Something for everyone!”

There is valet parking, which in 10 degree weather is a huge plus.
There was a coat check which is another perk.
Then we were seated in the main dining area in a lovely and comfortable table with a cloth tablecloth and napkins, which is a great commodity nowadays in an era where even upscale restaurants have given into.
The service was phenomenal.
Presented with warm fresh rolls along with the menus. A food menu and a drinks menu.
We dined a three course meal which was outstanding. From the starters to desert everything was cooked perfectly, plated and presented like an upscale restaurant should.
The meal, service and atmosphere was worth the price.

“We had my son’s bar mitzvah at Vienna and it was the most wonderful experience from beginning to end. Matt, Chris, Dina and their entire staff made this feel effortless and when the day came, we were guests at our own party. “I bought an apple tort for a New Years Eve family gathering and was very happy! The apple filling was lightly cinnamon and light without too much sugar and no jelled apple. The topping was neatly sliced apples brushed with a small layer of apple jelly. The crust was the short bread variety. Only $30. I was traveling and didn’t have time to bake so this light but tasty dessert was perfect! Worth visiting for hostess gifts! Nicely wrapped cookies, brownies, quick breads are sold there, too!”

“We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at Kyma and it did not disappoint! It was more than just dining- it was a whole experience! The service was phenomenal as was the foo, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered the Agean special. The watermelon salad was one of my favorites! After the meal, they brought us two beautifully prepared desserts. And then before we left, the manager spent time talking to us and getting to know us on a more personal level. It was really special evening and I highly recommend Kyma!”

“For a simple snack place by a pool, it has good price and decent food. Staff are really friendly. They can bring your food to the table as well. Even with half of the ice cream options unavailable, there were still many varieties to choose from.”

“I’ve been going to Hendricks for years and never did I have a bad experience there. My wife and I have gone together or we’ve been there for large gatherings as well and always a great time and amazing food. One of the most underrated restaurants on Long Island.”

“I go to Diane’s all the time for coffee and baked goods, at least once a week. I invited new moms and dads from the Roslyn school today for a gathering at Diane’s this morning to support local business. We had about 12 people. Sat outside at the patio where the shaded area was. Everybody all bought coffee and pastries. We arranged the tables and chairs in a long row so we could see each other. Later we were told by Diane, the owner, that she wasn’t happy that we rearranged her tables and sat together in a row. Why? The place wasn’t crowded with other guests. We all bought and paid for goods. I couldn’t help but thinking that because we were all Asians?! She could ask us kindly to put the tables and chairs back once we finish, which we did without being asked at the end. But with the unwelcoming remarks I will never come to support this business again. I don’t say this lightly but I felt it was discrimination in every way. I’m truly disappointed. I love Diane’s and the yummy treats but the owner was truly unkind. I share this post here because I don’t think this business supports diversity, which is a shame because this community is becoming more and more diversified.”

“We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.”

Yolo Yogurt and Desserts is hands down one of the BEST dessert spots out there. Every single product is incredible … rich, creamy yogurt, perfectly balanced flavors, and the freshest toppings you could ask for. You can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. On top of that, the atmosphere and service make the experience even better. If you haven’t been to Yolo yet, you’re seriously missing out. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked!”
