“In a quest to find “REAL “ whitefish salad, I followed a friend’s suggestion and tried Cafe 17A. Amazing! This past weekend I tried several other salads- Vegetable Tuna, Chicken Salad, Egg whites and spinach, Egg salad and mushrooms and of course sliced Nova and home made cream cheeses. My guests raved! Everything is fresh, and homemade with Love by Scott, the owner. Thanks Scott, - can’t wait to return- You’ve definitely nailed it”

I ordered a pastrami sandwich with eggs and Swiss, and it was delicious. The pastrami was flavorful, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the bread was soft, fresh, and held everything together beautifully. It was one of those meals that hits the spot and sticks with you (in the best way).
The cappuccino was decent—not the star of the show—but totally fine alongside the meal. What really stood out was the service: fast, friendly, and efficient, even though the place was packed. That says a lot. You can tell this is a popular spot for a reason.

The manager, Peter, greets everyone as they come in the store and makes a commercial chain feel like a small business with its warmth and comfort. Other businesses, Starbucks & just other humans need to observe how kind Peter and his staff are. Might come here every other day just to do work & watch kindness radiate!”

“Just stopped in today to try some of their breads like the olive loaf. The lady behind the counter saw my kids and said they have to try the cookies. So I bought one for them to share. I’ve never had a Chocolate chip cookie like this. It’s amazing. Needless to say I bought three more to take home. Awesome staff and delicious food.”
